The Map of the Clans
Five Clans claim territory in this land, fluctuating between tense harmony and outright war. From frigid snow-capped mountains, to rolling fields of flowers and grain, to luscious forests, there is a slice of land each Clan gladly calls home. And for those who wouldn't, there are always the Outskirts to haunt.
WindClan, of the Moors; ShadowClan, of the Marshes; RiverClan, of the Water; ThunderClan, of the Forest; SkyClan, of the Skies; and the lawless Outskirts.
Current Clan Standings
On the 5th Moon, Hawkstar and Juncostar commandeered a Gathering, during which they demanded that the other Clans surrender their so-called "codebreakers", deemed such under Hawkstar's deranged logic. Off-put by such commands, the other Clan leaders stood firm and rejected his ideals. However, unswayed, Hawkstar gave them a moon to submit to his orders and if they didn't, promised they would face consequences. A moon passed and when the Clans did not relent, ThunderClan and ShadowClan followed through with their threats and drove RiverClan out of their own campgrounds. Following these events, the Clan leaders have come together to discuss what needs to be done concerning Hawkstar and Juncostar.

The History of the Clans
Aug '07
The Clans have made the long and dangerous trek from their previous homes to find new homes, and finally arrive in the area they are settled in today. They were led by Trailingstar of RiverClan, Cloudstar of ShadowClan, Birchstar of SkyClan, Hazelstar of ThunderClan, and Runningstar of WindClan.
Jan '09
A pandemic of redcough strikes RiverClan at this time, claiming their medicine cat's apprentice's life alongside many others. The other Clans are highly wary of the infect one at this time.
Jun '09
The pandemic of redcough has not released its hold on RiverClan, and soon claims Trailingstar's life. Slatewhisker, who had been deputy, becomes Slatestar.
2010
With RiverClan so weakened from the relentless pandemic, Cloudstar sees the opportunity for easy prey and accompanies some of his warriors into RiverClan's territory for a hunting patrol. The ShadowClan patrol is caught, and in the ultimate form of karma, Cloudstar's life is claimed in the resulting scuffle. Flickercry becomes Flickerstar.
2011
The redcough pandemic in RiverClan finally starts letting up. ShadowClan goes through yet another leader change, Hailstrike becoming Hailstar after Flickerstar is crushed by a tree that had been hit by lightning.

Greencough infects ThunderClan and claims Hazelstar's last life, though it luckily seems to be easier on their numbers than the redcough had been on RiverClan's. Lilycloud becomes Lilystar.
Jun '13
Birchstar's last two lives are claimed after he saves a kit from falling off a cliff and instead falls himself. Amberfoot becomes Amberstar.

Sickness now hits SkyClan, some members getting it worse than others.

Tensions had been high between WindClan and ShadowClan for some time, and finally come to a head when Hailstar is attacked and killed by a dog. Berrystar was accused of plotting to kill the ShadowClan leader like this, and exiled as a result. Marshgaze becomes Marshstar, and Windyfire becomes Windystar.
Jan '15
WindClan once again has a change in leadership after Windystar leaves the Clan due to romantic drama with the Clan's medicine cat. Wolfstrike becomes Wolfstar. The sickness that had been in SkyClan is dwindling out.
Jan '16
The next year ShadowClan is hit with illness, the winter months never kind to the Clans. In RiverClan, Rainsong becomes Rainstar after Slatestar's passing.
Nov '17
ThunderClan's leader, Lilystar, dies of old age. Hollydrop becomes Hollystar.
Dec '18
Amberstar of SkyClan decides to retire to the elders' den after many moons of leading. Sunnystep becomes Sunnystar.
Apr '19
Roleplay started.
Marshstar passes due to old age, resulting in Hornetshade becoming Hornetstar.
Nov '19
Rainstar loses their last life saving kits from drowning. Sunnystar disappears. Wisteriaflower becomes Wisteriastar in RiverClan. Blazeleap becomes Blazestar in SkyClan. A hurricane steadily builds on the coast, soon making landfall.
Dec '19
The Clans are forced to head to higher ground for shelter from the rising water and raging winds. RiverClan is split in half due to ThunderClan already housing the whole of WindClan. One half stays in ThunderClan territory, the other half of RiverClan ends up sheltering in the mountains with ShadowClan and SkyClan.
Jan '20
WindClan and SkyClan return to their territories upon the flood waters residing. ShadowClan is invited to shelter in RiverClan for a moon, seeing as their tunnel camp is ruined.
Feb '20
With the aid of RiverClan, ShadowClan eventually finds a place closer to the mountains in their territory to make their new camp.
Mar '20
Heronflight reports finding a pile of fish bones with Kass' scent nearby, so Wisteriastar takes a patrol to ThunderClan to talk with Hollystar. The confrontation ends in a battle, Antlercreek of ThunderClan and Brightstream of RiverClan both losing their lives.
Apr '20
Fearing a possible eventual retaliation, RiverClan, ShadowClan and SkyClan form an alliance. After the Gathering, tensions had reached an all time high. The final strike was when Wolfstar approached Wisteriastar to talk to her about handling her son, Pantherstorm.
May '20
RiverClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan agree to attack a dawn WindClan patrol led by Wolfstar. A member of the WindClan patrol is sent to fetch ThunderClan reinforcements, all out war commencing. The bloodshed is only called to a halt once Wisteriastar learns of Pantherstorm's death.

Kass leads a ThunderClan patrol to ShadowClan to ask about teaming up to drive out a family of foxes lingering on their shared border. Hornetstar agrees, and the two Clans succeed in the task.
Oct '20
Towards the end of the moon, Hollystar disappears. Kass, renamed Bluefire, assumes leadership over ThunderClan.
Nov '20
After a confrontation between Wolfstar and Bluefire results in the WindClan leader's death, Desertrose steps up to become Desertstar. Later on, ThunderClan agrees Hollystar is gone for good, and Bluefire becomes Wildstar after her trip to the Mooncave.
Dec '20
Wisteriastar and Hornetstar leave the Clans together after their romance is threatened to be revealed. Darktorrent becomes Darkstar of RiverClan, and Smokewisp becomes Smokestar of ShadowClan.
Feb '21
The Medicine Cats receive a vision of a thick, black substance swallowing them whole at the medicine cat meeting. Due to the trauma of this vision, Saffrongaze steps down and Speckledmoss steps up as sole SkyClan healer. SkyClan also has an issue with rogues, and in ThunderClan, Heavyroar becomes deputy after Sunnyheart steps down.
Mar '21
At the Gathering, the Clan leaders, accompanied by their Medicine Cats, witness the oil spill tainting the moonstone.
April '21
The oil has extreme side effects on the cats that come into contact with it. Many fall ill and some even lose their lives. Smokestar falls into a coma and so does Cherrypaw.
May '21
Goldenswan retires and Stormhowl is named deputy in her place.
July '21
A RiverClan warrior named Snowfeather, a SkyClan warrior named Frostburn, a ShadowClan apprentice named Wasppaw, a ThunderClan apprentice named Amberpaw and a loner named Orion all receive dreams to meet one another at the Ghostly Flats.
Aug '21
Cherrypaw and Wasppaw learn an ancient prayer from a StarClan cat that grants them the ability to return the wayward spirits of comatose cats back to their bodies.
Sep '21
Snowfeather, Frostburn, Wasppaw, Amberpaw, and Orion leave on a journey to retrieve a herb that absorbs oil.
Oct '21
The journeying cats return home. They find out that Smokestar has passed away, her body unable to handle the stress of the coma. Snowfeather becomes RiverClan deputy after Stormhowl's affair with a ShadowClan queen is revealed.

Juncostar becomes ShadowClan leader and names Mellowfrost his deputy.

Wildstar is called away by StarClan. Heavyroar is passed over as leader in favor of Gravelpelt, who becomes Gravelstar. Firestar asks Dawnstorm to step down as deputy. Cherryblossom and Waspsight earn their full names as medicine cats. Speckledmoss takes on Opalpaw as her apprentice.

Firestar of SkyClan names Bayleaf as his deputy.
May '22
Snowfeather becomes Snowstar and appoints Coppercloud her deputy. When Quiethawk retires, Littlewoods is named WindClan's new medicine cat. In SkyClan, Speckledmoss and Opalpaw leave to the mountains and Ceruleansky and Laurelpaw step up into the rank of Clan healer.
Sep '22
Snowstar disappears, reasons why unknown. Coppercloud steps up as leader of RiverClan. Seemingly simultaneously, mysterious deaths occur in ThunderClan and Gravelstar is missing as well, leaving them leaderless.
Oct '22
Bodies begin to appear throughout the territories, one after another. The Clans begin to worry that they have a serial killer on their paws.
Nov '22
Hawkstar becomes leader of ThunderClan and names Briarstep his deputy. In RiverClan, Rainysky retires and Venomrose becomes the Clan's sole medicine cat. Additionally, Hareflight of ShadowClan also retires and her apprentice Waspsight takes over as Clan healer.
Jan '23
Lavendermoon retires due to an old injury and Spottedkoi is named RiverClan deputy in her place. In ThunderClan, Peachblossom also retires, leaving Figtree sole Medicine Cat.
Feb '23
The Clans come together to rid themselvs of The Ripper. However, despite their best efforts, the beast escapes them and flees to areas unknown.
Apr '23
Heronfeather becomes the new deputy of SkyClan, serving under Firestar after Bayleaf resigns. Figtree of ThunderClan also resigns his rank.
May '23
After they commandeer a Gathering and make outrageous demands, Hawkstar and Juncostar invade RiverClan and drive them from their home.
