Gentle snores came from the different dens within RiverClan's camp, a subtle but obvious sign that most of the Clan's occupants were still peacefully sleeping the rest of the early morning hours away. One particular inhabitant was bright eyed and bushy tailed, with bright pools of orange gazing with hesitance and excitement at the spot where cats of every other rank were free to come and go as they pleased.
It didn't make sense to the little molly why she couldn't go run about outside of camp but others could. She was surely big enough to take care of herself, and if she had an escort in the form of an apprentice or warrior, then wouldn't things be even more fine? Such logic made sense to little Spiderkit, but that reasoning didn't exactly persuade her to seek out a willing escort. Oh, no, she was determined to escort herself. Her family was peacefully sleeping as far as she knew, meaning they were blissfully unaware of the kitten eyeing her path to temporary freedom.
She was crouched down by the fresh-kill pile, trying her best to appear small and hidden next to the assortment of food that would later be for breakfast. Her pupils dilated from the anticipation of what she felt was a beyond brilliant idea. The tip of her tail twitched and she wiggled her bottom in a rather uncoordinated fashion. Sneaking out of camp seemed like it'd be a much too slow process - so, instead, Spiderkit had the idea that she was going to run.
She giggled softly to herself at her well thought out plan and gave one more little wiggle - mostly out of excitement - before she lurched forwards and took off as fast as she could make her little legs go towards the gateway to an unfamiliar world.
