Edgefrost Riverclan Warrior “Not too fast!” Edge called towards his three boys, who were dashing outside of the nursery and into the clearing. The only one who seemed to listen was Jaykit, who slowed his pace but of course Sleetkit and Galekit didn’t listen and if anything, quickened their pace. Letting out a small grumble, his dark green eyes narrowed slightly as the black and gray Maine Coon followed after his sons. Snowfeather and Darkstar had a meeting today, leaving Edgefrost in charge of the three toms. Now, his mate was more of a firm parent and was sorta obsessive over their sons. Snowfeather shared every single thing that their kits do to other parents and bragged about her sons.. But Edge was the more relaxed parent, his sons practically got away with everything with him and he didn’t bother scolding them whenever they did anything wrong.. His boys could express themselves as they pleased, “Sleetkit.” Edge called, watching as his son seemed to be hounding the poor elders, was Sleetkit bullying the poor elderly? As yes, Edge remembered fondly when he used to bother the elders.. How they kicked him out everyday because he talked back to them or started gambling with the elders over sweet treats and of course.. They would become sore losers when he won. A feeling of pride went through Edge, watching his middle child meddling with Spottedfish. Going towards the small white and gray kit, he flicked his tail and leaned down til he quietly told Sleetkit “Make sure that your mother doesn’t hear that you’ve been bothering the elders, she was on my tail the other day after you and Galekit released a stink bug into the nursery.” Edge simply said, before going back to the clearing to see Galekit and Jaykit playing “What do you wanna do Sleetkit?” Edge called towards his son, and waved his paw towards Sleetkit to come towards him so the two could do an activity together. While fatherhood was still new to him, Edge was trying to get the grasp of it.. Watching the other fathers, it seemed like he needed to do some kind of bonding by play fighting? Eh, he wasn't quite sure yet.. Edge will get the hang of it.

While his dark green eyes were narrowed, Edge had a soft expression when looking at his son. Moving until he was in front of the small kit, the large Maine Coon lowered himself until he was leveled with Sleetkit. Grinning slightly, Edge shook his head in amusement “I know you’re trying to have a conversation with them kiddo, just make sure that you’re careful with whatever you say.. They’re all grumpy.” Edge said with a soft snort. Sleetkit may look like Snowfeather but didn’t act like her at all, that was Jaykit. Looking over and seeing that Jaykit and Galekit were around, he watched carefully as the two brothers were observing a pebble while having some kind of conversation. Edge’s two Rugrats were occupied for the time being, he knew that Galekit and Jaykit would eventually get bored which meant that he needed to find a better activity soon for all three boys.
Edge loved spending time with his boys, to see them growing up and becoming their own characters. Glancing over at his two other sons, Edge beckoned his head towards the elder’s area with a small grin “Let’s go have a conversation with the Eldery” He said, letting Sleetkit lead the way. The black and gray tom knew that his son enjoyed having formal conversations (Or at least try, he was still figuring out his words) and not being treated like a mere kit. His boys weren’t getting any younger, and eventually they would earn their apprentice names. Edge wanted to spend as much time with them as possible, before they probably deemed that hanging out with their father wasn’t ‘cool’ anymore. Oh stars, Edge remembered when he started trying to act independent with Swanpath.. But his late mother always reminded him that he would always be one of her babies.
Once the father and son duo made their way towards the elder’s den, Edge’s dark green eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of them. Ah yes, the Eldery. They were quite the characters. Watching his son going towards Whiteflower, Edge’s mouth parted slightly as he was ready to tell Sleetkit to pick another elder. Whitefish and Edge didn’t have the best relationship due to a prank gone wrong, along with Whitefish being a sore loser during his gambling days. “Edgefrost is that you?!” The white elder said, squinting her eyes when looking at the black and gray tom. Edge let out a soft scoff before nodding “Yes, It’s me. My son Sleetkit wanted to visit you guys.” The Maine Coon said, beckoning his head towards Sleetkit who was watching the two. Whitefish narrowed her eyes when looking at Edgefrost to Sleetkit “You know, your father was a pain in the tail! Especially towards us elders!” She said while Edge rolled his eyes and muttered “Ah, here we go.” 04b90f
