Aster
Loner
It’s a simple mission.. Find his way into the clans, gather the information and report back to the bosses.
Aster grumbled slightly, his dark gray and white tail flicking from side to side. Of course he was approached with this mission, Aster was one of the best well known spies in his group. The large longer had to force a leg injury on himself, which resulted in Aster limping around the Riverclan territory.
“When is someone coming out?” Aster grumbled to himself, shaking his head slightly. He had to encounter someone eventually, these clan cats didn’t leave these areas defenseless.. If so, they were certainly lame at creating a society.
It wasn’t until he suddenly came face to face with a small calico molly, observing a rock. His eyebrow arched slightly at her. Aster had soon deemed her a non-threat, he could easily take her in a fight with an injury if Spottedstar had tried to fight him.
“I’m injured, and I need help.” Aster said quietly, narrowing his eyes. Limping towards her with a frown. “I kinda got attacked by a fox nearby, you may have to watch out for that thing.. Pretty tall, had the smell of milk so cubs are nearby.” Aster mused.
Spottedstar
Riverclan Leader
“I’m Spottedstar.” Her introduction swiftly and pointedly. Her tail swaying cautiously behind her, leading the loner into the depths of their territory. Her long tufted ears flicking at his words, “So long as my clan approves, you’re more than welcome to share our home until you’re healed.” Her voice was sweet but there was a small tingle of mistrust in her tone. She wanted to be welcomed by this territory's inhabitants but she also needed to make sure her clan was safe.
“I am the current leader of a clan of cats known as Riverclan. Our prior home was destroyed so we, along with the other clans, traveled many nights to find this place.” Pausing for just a moment the small molly stood still taking in her surroundings as she often did when out in the territory. “This place is perfect.” Her words are airy and breathless. Her tail guided his attention to the small stream that had been accompanying them on their walk, leaning down she slowly lapped up the refreshing water. “We are at one with the water, using it to survive.” She knew she probably shouldn't be sharing all this with a stranger but she loved talking about her home.
Spottedstar tried to hold in her normal tendencies but feeling the water run down her throat she gave in. The calico molly slipped into the stream, the water coming up to about her chest however she submerged herself, tucking her paws under her as she stayed under the surface as long as she could before bursting out of the water. Recklessly leaping after the shadows that were cast in the water like a kitten experiencing it for the first time. Her gaze darting back to the grey and white tom cat, “Hope you dont mind the water!” A loud chuckling following her words. A toothy grin plastered on her muzzle.
Aster
Loner
The large tom had faked a smile when Spottedstar had spoken, and nodding in agreement “Yeah, don’t want your younglings to get injured, foxes are a big deal.” Aster had agreed, nodding. It wasn’t until Spottedstar’s invite to camp that caused Aster’s eyes to widen in surprise. This group was certainly easy to gain their trust. “I promise I’ll be out of your fur in a couple of days, just until I’m healed.” Aster had said, dipping nhis head in respect towards her.
Everything was certainly going to plan!
Following the calico leader, he was certainly curious about her. She was certainly an oddball but Spottedstar knew how to handle business “What’s your story?” He couldn’t help but ask. Looking at the stream, the large tom couldn’t help but sigh softly in content. The gray and white tom enjoyed the water, it was perhaps the calmest thing ever in life.
“My name is Aster, I’m one of the house-cats nearby.” Aster introduced himself, lying about where he had came from. House cats tend to be more safe of a cover story due to most of them being harmless. “I’ve never seen you lot before, did you just arrive or it’s been a couple of weeks?” He questioned.
Liontooth is watching the camp, Edgefrost took the apprentices training, everything is under control. Liontooth is watching the camp, Edgefrost took the apprentices training, everything is under control. Constantly repeating the phrase to herself constantly in attempts to calm her nerves about leaving the camp. She knew Riverclan could survive her leaving the camp for a bit but she couldn't help but feel a certain anxiety whenever she was away. Spottedstar looked down at her paws, giving her mind something to focus on other than her worries softly pushed against the group beneath her. Paws scooping small amounts of dirt out of her way until the small jagged rock surfaced. Spottedstar lowered herself to the ground, rubbing her head against the stone, before allowing her body to roll onto the ground. A loud purr erupting from the Riverclan leader as her body wiggled with delight. For Riverclan this behavior was strange to the molly but its not the normal behavior shown by clan leadership.
Her motions iced as an unfamiliar scent wafted the leaders way, tilting her head searching for the root of the scent. As the figure came more into frame her large eyes blinked slowly at the tom, the fire in her gaze studying the new comer. Flipping onto her paws, Spottedstar faced Aster, her mind racing flipping through the cats from the other clans she met, his features not matching up with any from her memory.
Her whisker twitching at his story Fox? Liontooth never mentioned a fox. Her tail sweeping around the ground as she walked closer to the tom cat. Spottedstar, lacking the concept of personal space, moved her nose to examine his lame paw, giving it a quick sniff she smelt no scent of fox on him. Spottedstar circled the tom, eyeing him down as she moved. Her first instinct was to send him away, but she thought back to her clans most of them being of outsider descent. If her predecessors sent them away when they reached out for help half of them wouldn't be there.
“I will have to warn my clan.” The strange leader finally spoke up to the tom. Her blank expression resting on the toms figure. “What do they call you?” She probed
