"Cascademoon! Sundrop! Cascademoon! Sundrop!"
The echoes of their names resounded in the clearing as their Clanmates cheered their names. It was loud enough to cancel out the ever-present booming of the waterfall that made its home in their camp. Cascademoon looked up at the waterfall she had been named after, pride searing its place into her heart. As of today, she was a full-fledged warrior of RiverClan. She took a glance to the molly at her flank, a grin large enough to split the Earth on her face.
"Well, Sundrop," She laughed, nudging her friend's shoulder playfully, "today's the day we've been looking forward to for the past twelve moons. How do you feel?"

Sundrop blinked her bi-coloured eyes. You're the one that matters most to me. What did that mean? For a moment, Sundrop stood there, shock filling her features as the moment stretched on. But then, it was broken and Cascademoon went about finding them a spot for their nests. "Yes. Yeah. That looks great," the molly said distractedly, still mulling over Cascade's words. Although there had been an ounce of hope leaping in her heart, Sundrop found it easy to shake it away. After all, if Cascademoon had meant anything more by it she probably wouldn't have moved on so quickly. Cascade was direct - to the point. It was something Sundrop had always admired about her.
At any rate, at least Sundrop could trust that Cascademoon didn't truly feel stuck with her. However, although she wouldn't bring it up again, she did worry that Cascademoon was limiting her options. Well, maybe Sundrop would have to steer her toward some nice warrior. They were friends, after all, and didn't friends look out for each other like that?
Allowing Cascademoon to shift the conversation, Sundrop weaved through other nests to make her way to the back of the den to stand with the other molly. "Are you excited to really get to know all the other warriors now that we're ones as well? It'll be different now," Sundrop purred slightly, trying to ease whatever tension had been there by gently bumping into her friend's side. "They won't dismiss us nearly as much I bet!"

The cat who she had rejected seemed downhearted, they slumped slightly and glanced at Sundrop, who appeared to be the reason for their rejection. But they accepted it quietly, nodded, and turned around to leave them be. As if she felt the sting, Sundrop also turned and headed towards the warrior's den, as though she were eager to get away from the accusatory glare. Cascademoon couldn't blame her for that. She knew that her popularity with the other warriors could sometimes overflow into her relationship with Sundrop, and honestly she felt guilty for the burden it put on her. If she could, she would handle it all alone and keep the disappointment of rebuffs away from her entirely. She didn't want the feline she cared for to have to deal with the repercussions. It felt unfair to her.
When her friend piped up again, she felt relieved- it seemed as though she was able to shrug off the circumstances of the situation they just experienced. Or, so she thought. Until Sundrop continued. Cascademoon frowned, disheartened by the suggestion that she might have to shy away from being with Sundrop or the reality that, one day, they might not be able to be so close anymore. She didn't want that. Not at all.
It seemed like Sundrop didn't want to linger on the negatives either, since she gave her a gentle nudge and immediately continued on into the warrior's den to find somewhere for them to nest. But even if she wanted to move on from that discussion, Cascademoon felt like it was important that she confront it now. She didn't want there to be any misunderstandings between them. Sundrop meant too much for her to risk any misbeliefs interfering their connection.
"I'm not stuck with you at all." She disagreed, lowering her head to stare at Sundrop with pleading eyes- eyes that begged her to understand. "There's no one else I would rather be with or spend my time with. You're the one that matters most to me."
Oh wow. Now that she said it, it kind of sounded like a confession. Her heart pounded so fiercely, it felt like it threatened to burst out of her chest and scream, "Sundrop, I'm in love with you!" to the stars. She didn't know if she was fully ready to confess her feelings to her friend just yet, since she worried that Sundrop might only see her as a friend and then she really would risk losing her forever. For now, she would leave it there and she wouldn't press it any further.
"How about over there? Near the back." She suggested heartily, moving away from Sundrop to give the other molly some breathing room. She made her way towards the empty space near the rear of the den and gestured towards it. "We're new warriors anyway, so we should mind the space of those who have been here already."

Despite the fact it was just the two of them being addressed, Sundrop still started slightly as Cascademoon nudged her. "Like I want to get out of this crowd," she said, offering a halfhearted smile over. Still, glancing over at her friend, she couldn't help but feel proud for the both of them as well. Although she'd never had any doubt that Cascademoon would become a successful warrior, secretly, Sundrop had always worried that maybe she was too soft for this life.
Still, she'd done it. Realizing she'd been zoning out staring at Cascademoon, she cleared her throat quietly. "Oh- but what about you? Are you excited? I, um, I think you'll make just a great warrior." Sundrop offered her a soft smile before embarrasedly turning her head away, making a good show of glancing at the other members of their Clan. Behind them, she locked her eyes onto the Warrior's Den, where Cascademoon and her would soon be sleeping. It felt like such a huge change, even though, really, not much had changed at all. Feeling Cascademoon's fur brush softly against hers, Sundrop allowed a soft sigh to drop from her lips, glancing back over at the other feline. "How long do you think we have to stand here?"
