Ryefield || She-Cat || ShadowClan Deputy
The calico deputy lounged silently in a secluded section of the camp, that she could still see most of the camp from, her sharp eyes scanning the activity around her. She lay in a half-shaded area, long wavy pelt of brown, orange tabby, and white fur, soaking up warm rays of the late afternoon sun. Even if she was still new and rather unused to deputiship, she took the job seriously for what she could, not wanting to disappoint anyone despite the great responsibility placed upon her shoulders.
Though she appeared relaxed as she lays there, her mind was alert, always ready to spring into action if needed. Bending her head, she spares a few seconds to groom over her chest fur, letting a light sigh. She debated perhaps heading out to hunt on her own a bit before it was time to send out the evening border patrol, though she was rather comfortable soaking up the sunshine she could from where she loafs.
Her tail tip twitches up and down against her own flank as it tucks along her side, and she pauses in her grooming to once again return to watch over ShadowClans camp clearing.
Zinnia♡She-Cat♡Shadowclan
Watching as her mom walked away to talk to Ravenstar, Zinnia remained quietly near the nursery. Glancing back, she saw some of the kits who were playing about within the den, many being family through her older half sister Widowsting and her mates. Yet she had kept her distance. It was hard when your half siblings looked at you with bitterness to the fact Zinnia was being raised properly by her mother Silverscreech, while her half siblings did not. So Zinnia showed respect by mingling as little as possible with her nieces and nephews for now. Things were still not smooth sailing for the family in general. And Zinnia was trying to avoid making things worse for her mother. The only half siblings who seemed to love Zinnia’s presence was Ferretfuzz.
Sighing, the fluffy bright orange striped she-cat had just made it to her 6 moon mark. Sadness had been passing through the kits mind however. She had grown older without her brother Torrent by her side. Once they were in the clan officially, they could have been made apprentices together. Now that was a dream she wasn't going to see come true. Still, she tried not to let it get her down.
Glancing around, her yellow-green gaze saw another cat secluding herself quietly from the sight of her clanmates. With curiosity, Zinnia moved her way around the camp, clumsily moving through some foliage as she tried to sneak up on the calico. But her attempts would have been futile. With every pawstep she could easily be heard by the shadowclan deputy. Still, Zinnia’s ears went flat as she tried to hide herself nearby, quietly deciding if she wanted to pounce in a playful manner, or remain still and just observe.
