The long furred tabby calico apprentice basked in the warm sun, golden rays of light reflecting off the ginger tabby marking and the soft paler speckles that hid within her fur were brought out by the light. The warmth of the sun soaked through her fur, and a soft purr rumbled deep in her throat. Eyes closed, she was entirely relaxed. After a long morning of training, she was glad to have some time to just relax, her first meal of the day laying not far from her. A little black bird lay whisker lengths away, claimed and just waiting to be munched on... but Ryepaw was enjoying the warmth far too much to eat at the moment. Sometimes she wished this was all she'd ever have to do, lay in the warm sun, soaking it up, doing nothing. It had potential for a nice life... but, she was sure she'd grow bored eventually. The bustle of camp happenings drew her attention back to the present, her interesting mix of blue, purple and green gaze battered open slowly, a small yawn emitting from her maw, blinking sleepily a couple of times. Stirring in her spot, she shakes out her fur, while remaining laying in her position. Ryepaw's attention turned towards the bird, contemplating devouring every bit of it, bone and all, in a few large crunchy bites, though she didn't yet move to do that.

Greenleaf is in full flush. Temperatures reach nearly unbearable hights. Long-furred cats should stray from the sun.
