Ryecatcher
Skyclan Warrior
The light gray tabby tom was pondering for a moment in front of the warriors’ den, watching Primrosethorn carefully, biting the inside of his cheek. Ryecatcher was debating if he wanted to ask her on a stroll through the woods, it was certainly a challenge. The Firestar and Auroraskies’ family have been a bit on edge since Firestar had suddenly collapsed in the middle of camp, It took a couple of his sons to drag the Skyclan leader to his den, which Auroraskies suddenly disappearing with her some of the kits from the eldest litter.. Since there was no deputy, Ebonywolf was handling Skyclan in this time of chaos. The last time that Ryecatcher had checked, Northwind and Geodehaze were watching over their father in the leader’s den. Primrosethorn was next on watching over Firestar next.
It was challenging for Ryecatcher because it was quite challenging to comfort Primrosethorn in her most desperate time of need. It was also challenging as well because Firestar was his mentor and had treated himself and his littermates like family when Littledove and Tigersnap had left their lives. Letting out a long sigh, the slim gray Tom knew that he had to man up and be there for the one he adored the most in life… Even if Primrosethorn was quite the diva at times.
Rising from his position, Ryecatcher slowly made his way towards her. The young Skyclan warrior was trying to figure out the correct words coming out of his mouth, or there was going to be a slap coming his way from the beautiful calico molly. Clearing his throat to gain her attention, Ryecatcher was silent for a moment. It appeared that he was dumbfounded due to the fact that he didn’t have the proper comfort words for Primrosethorn.. Which caused him to wanna slap his paw against his forehead in frustration towards himself.
“Do you wanna uh… Take a walk before your shift starts?” Ryecatcher questioned her with a small smile. He really hoped that she wouldn’t reject him. Once Primrosethorn signaled that she would take a stroll with him, Ryecatcher almost let out a sigh of relief before leading her our of camp. His destination? Ryecatcher wasn’t so sure in what direction he really wanted to go “Sorry, I kinda needed some space away from camp… Everyone being so restless is quite nerve-wracking.” The light gray Tom said before looking at the beautiful calico molly “Did you eat anything at all?” He questioned gently towards her, knowing she was very worried about her father.
