Violet-Amber eyes squinted slightly in the sunlight as the black and golden molly exited the nursery and into the camp clearing. It had been a moon since Firestar and her kits had arrived and how she wished that time would already slow down. It was incredible to see how fast the kits had developed into their own personalities, from Beekit’s shyness, Cosmokit’s gentle heart and Primrosekit already taking after her father. Aurora turned to look back to see her son joining him, stumbling after her. Tumblekit had already grown to be quite the character already just like his brothers and sisters, having quite a unique personality that Aurora couldn’t explain. A soft smile escaped her lips as she beckoned her head towards the direction of the clearing “Come on, I’ve got something planned for you.” She said before bounding towards the clearing.
The light brown tabby had quite a different sleeping schedule than his siblings, sleeping and waking up at the oddest hours. Tumblekit was mostly the reason of Firestar and Aurora waking up in the night when feeling him squirm to find a comfortable place to relax while everyone else slept. Even now, his siblings were currently taking a nap but the kit wasn’t quite ready for his nap yet. So Aurora decided to take him out of the nursery so he could avoid being alone while everyone else slept. The black and golden Maine Coon was scanning around the camp, thinking of an activity that they could both do together until seeing a small pile of mud nearby as it rain the night before “Aha! Follow me Kiddo” She said before padding towards a tree that had a couple of leaves falling and looked trough the pile before deciding on one that her son would probably like.
Picking up a red leaf, she went towards Tumblekit and placed it down in front of him before returning to the pile to grab an orange one and padded until she stood in front of him and sat down. Aurora soon moved her left foreleg and her golden paw dipped into the small pile of mud and grabbed a pawfull and placed it on top of Tumblekit’s red leaf, she did the same with her own orange leaf and the Skyclan Queen was carefully thinking “I don’t know what to make just yet, any suggestions?” Aurora questioned with a half grin on her face. It was the little activities that counted, as Aurora wanted to do as much as she could with her kits while growing up and insure that they had a normal and fun kithood. The molly didn’t really have a childhood at all, as she didn’t grow up with the most stable family or group of cats when she was her children’s age.. But her children were going to grow up safe and happy, Aurora would make sure of it.
Auroraskies Skyclan Queen Watching her son carefully as she was molding her project, a soft smile appeared on her face. A lot of cats didn’t really understand Tumblekit and his way of thinking, but Aurora understood him well. His little paws were carefully molding his piece of mud into a leaf. Looking down as she was trying to perfect her flower, and hummed softly when hearing her son’s words. It seemed like Tumblekit had fun on his little playdate, so she wouldn’t question it any further as she was pleased with his answer. “Good, It makes me happy knowing that you’re having fun.” The black and golden molly said softly, wanting her son with adoration. When looking up at her project, Aurora saw that Tumblekit had finally finished his project. Her violet-amber eyes shined in complete awe, Tumblekit was such a little artist! “Tumble! It looks perfect!” The black and golden molly said, her voice full of excitement while releasing a soft purr. Standing up, Aurora leaned down to lick her son’s forehead before returning to sitting down. She could clearly see how excited her son was judging by his facial expression, even as he had a straight face on. Tumblekit had seemed to have inherited Firestar’s resting face, as her mate was well known for having a resting facial expression that seemed to make some cats uneasy. “Oh?” She questioned as soon Tumble added the finishing touches to Leafy, a little smile. Waving her golden tail back and forth, Aurora was purring so loudly that most likely the whole camp could hear her. “I love Leafy, they came out beautifully.” The molly said, leaning down to take a close look at Tumblekit’s project, what amazing artwork from her little son! Aurora was going to drag Fire out of their den after his meeting was finished so he could take a look at what their son did. “When Leafy dries up, We’ll bring them back to the nursery so you can show off your project to everyone else and enjoy their company.. Sounds fair?” She questioned, as Aurora was quite a sentimental molly, so everything that her children made she wanted to keep so they can always look back at their mini projects when they were adults. Flicking her tail for her son to get up, a soft smile appeared on her face when looking at one of the little sunshines of her life “Come on Tumble, we’re gonna have a little mother-son lunch and then we’ll bring Leafy back to the nursery with us.” She said as Aurora led her son away. Aurora loved her children, they were her entire world.
TUMBLEKIT.

His funny little pile of mud was once more forgotten in favor of staring at his mother again, golden eyes hungrily drinking in the sight of how she was attempting to mold her flower. He watched the stem she shaped melt back into the main mass of the mud, giving way to gravity, before she started making the flower laying down. It wasn't fascinating, not by any means, but Tumblekit could hardly bring himself to look away. He might have completely forgotten about his own project, if Auroraskies' questions didn't kickstart his brain back into thinking once more.
"Hmm? Oh, them!" The sandy orange tabby commented, somehow briefly forgetting the other kits he'd shared the nursery with his whole life so far. Sticking his own tongue out to the side in a mimic of the face his mom had pulled, he finally reached back out to start shaping his own mud. "They were fun," he offered, saying it because he knew that's what she liked to hear even if he truly had no idea if he believed the words or not. What made something fun, after all?
With a little hum struck up, Tumblekit truly committed to shaping his mud, expertly moving his large paws this way and that to really shape the mud into a stunning-
Leaf.
Yes, that's right, he'd shaped the mud into the outline of the leaf his mother had provided him to put the mud on in the first place. Obviously imagination had skipped a generation, and Tumblekit's future kits were destined to be downright Picassos.
"This is Leafy," the tom-kit stated, looking up from his project to his mother with the most deadpan look on his fluffy little face. "Oh, wait." Quickly he poked two little dots into the features of the mud, then drew a wobbly little line right under those two dots. Now the leaf was smiling. "Ta-da."

The black and golden molly always enjoyed spending time with her children, as her babies and Firestar were the loves of her life. Being a mother and mate gave her a whole new purpose in life, like she was on top of the world. Tumblekit wasn't their first born, but he was already growing into the biggest male within the litter. Aurora wondered if her son would turn out to become massive like Fire.. Hm, it looks like they would have to find out. A fond smile appeared on the molly’s face when watching her son start poking the mud before looking up at her with wide golden eyes. “Yeah! You can shape whatever you like!” Aurora said in excitement to him, watching him carefully before her small paws went to her own piece of mud and began attempting to mold something. Now, Aurora wasn’t the best artist.. But she would surely try her hardest to make sure that Tumble would be impressed.
“I’m going to start with a flower.” She said, as her paws went to mold the stem of the flower. Aurora’s tongue stuck out on the side as she attempted to get the stem to stand up but laughed and shook her head in amusement when it fell instead “Alright, we’ll try this way.” She said before laying it down and began straightening it out “Did you enjoy the playdate with Finchkit and Ryekit that we had?” She questioned, as she was trying to perfect the stem before looking up at her son. While Littledove was sleeping, it seemed like her best friend had told Tigersnap that Ryekit and Finchkit were to be joining Tumblekit on a playdate. While Tigersnap had seemed competitive while Finchkit and Ryekit attempted to play mossball with Tumblekit, her son merely sat there as the moss ball went past him. Of course Aurora was cheering her son on, as he was doing such a good job!
All she wanted was for all her kits to be happy, that was her goal in the end. Aurora watched her son with a soft smile as it seemed like he was trying to come up with something “You’re doing great! You have to tell me the name of your project after you're done.” Aurora said, giving him a pointed look. Grabbing a piece of mud, she began rolling it up to make the pollen part “I think that I’ll call my flower: Floria” she said, as she couldn’t think of anything better.. But again, Aurora was used to winging random things when it came to her kits.. She was quite an odd cat, but hey.. It brought much entertainment into her family’s life. #dc1ed2
TUMBLEKIT.

It was naptime, or at least for the rest of his siblings and Littledove's kits. And if Tumblekit had proven anything so far, it was that he wasn't quite like the rest of the kits. Of course they'd all started developing their own personalities by this age, but it was obvious to anyone with eyes and ears that something was odd about the sandy brown tabby. Luckily it wasn't a bad odd, and his Clanmates and family had come to adapt to it, however.
Like now, instead of forcing him to lay in the nest in boredom, though he truthfully wouldn't have minded, his mother was sacrificing her own downtime to lead him out into the clearing and set about gathering supplies for whatever project she'd conjured up in her head. He didn't quite understand what they were supposed to do with the mud on the leaf, but he did recognize the warm feeling in his heart as love for Auroraskies.
Forcing his wide golden eyes from staring at her lovely face, he studied the piles of mud before their paws. Reaching out, he gave his own pile a testing prod, snorting at the texture and way the mud moved. "You can... shape it?" He mumbled, now reaching out with both paws to firmly push the mud together in a taller, thinner pile.
