Opalkit
Thunderclan Kitten
The gray and black molly was the first to burst out of the clearing, blue eyes lit up in excitement as the snow was kicking behind her. It was beautiful out and her Daddy decided it was a good time to enjoy sometime within the clearing! “Come on!” Opalkit said, her voice full of excitement as she was waiting for her siblings to join her. Moments later Honeykit, Oxkit joined with their father Snarlingbadger joining behind. A bright smile appeared on her face when the massive black and white tom finally followed them outside of the nursery, Opalkit loved her father so much, followed him almost everywhere the Thunderclan warrior would go. There was a unique bond between the two and Opalkit wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Daddy! Let’s go!” Opalkit called, her chubby cheeks puffing up while her eyebrows furrowed as she pretended to be angry that he was taking so long to join them. Honeykit made it towards her first as the larger tan tuxedo suddenly pounced at her and the two siblings crashed into the snow which caused Opalkit to let out a squeal of joy, letting out a loud laugh as her brother suddenly rolled into the snow with her. It wasn’t until the small gray and black molly had gotten up and shook the snow remaining on her fur and her blue eyes lit up in excitement when seeing a couple of warriors returning from the border patrol, a couple of them heading towards the warriors den in order to rest.
Her stubby paws began to bound towards the direction of the warriors’ den in order to question the warriors about the border patrol until hearing her father grunting out her name and Opalkit stopped, and turned back to look at him and pouted. It appeared that she went too far, she didn’t want to disappoint her father. Quickly turning around, the small gray and black kit quickly made her way back towards her father and it wasn’t until she suddenly tripped over her paws and had fallen face first into the snow. The small chubby kitten heard pawsteps quickly coming towards her and Opalkit looked up to see Snarlingbadger in front of her, looking concerned. Letting out a small frown, the small molly had sat up and shook her fur to clear away the snow before quickly moving until she was between her father’s front paws and pouted.
“Daddy, I don’t like the snow anymore.” 70ffd1
Oxkit
Finally! The snow had dwindled just enough for their over bearing mother to allow them to leave the nursery to enjoy the clearing. Peachblossom was busy with training her apprentice to come join them today. Smiling his signature mischievous smile as he slowly heads after his siblings, he could tell that Opalkit was just as excited as he was to fully explore the outside world. Even though he knew it was going to be cold, it was better than staying cooped up in the nursery for any longer. Him and his twin, Bisonkit could only cause so much mischief within the confinements of the nursery. The two toned dark brown kit lovingly nuzzles his sleeping twin before rushing after Opalkit and Honeykit. He could hear his father’s grunt not far behind, long tail flicking side to side happily as he pounced into the snow. Laughing joyfully as he did not mind the coldness seeping into his thick pelt.
Twitching his nose side to side as small snowflakes fall onto his cold wet nose, refraining a sneeze that threatened to escape him. Oxkit’s big paper thin ears perk up at hearing Opalkit and Honeykit rough hassling around, his brilliant magenta eyes shining in glee as he watches his two siblings flail about. Hopping clumsily through the snow as he approaches his family. Blinking in surprise as Opal curiously makes her way to the warriors, scoffing at her tactless stealth. Smirking as Snarlingbadger warns his little sister to stay within sight. Ox often teases his sister for being such a daddy’s girl, always listening to what daddy says. Plus it was easy to rile up the black and grey she-kit. “Ooooo look who almost got in trouble!!” Oxkit gasps, his voice lilting higher in a mocking tone. He went to say more but was cut off when seeing his sister face plant into the snow.
A loud snort escapes him before he could no longer contain his chortles of pure delight. “You should have seen your face!” He teases as he finally makes his way to her. Peering down at the impression she made in the snow, “Look! Sister dearest! Almost looks like you” he muses as he could faintly see some distinctive features of her nose and whiskers impressed into the powder white snow. Playfully nudging her as he wiggles his brows mischievously, flicking his tail lightly over his lips in a hushing motion. Once knowing Opalkit was on board, he quickly crafts a lumpy ball of snow before throwing it in Honeykit’s direction. Only for his aim to miss completely! Instead of hitting the unexpected brown and white kit, the snow ball smacks into Snarlingbadger’s side.
“Run!” Oxkit yells, shoving into Opal in order to save himself from his giant father.
Pearkit
Grunting to himself as he could feel his mother’s rough tongue against his fluffy black pelt, it was as if she was gently coaxing him awake. Growling at his mother as he sleepily rolls away from her touches, he was in no mood to wake up now. Honeykit had been tossing and turning most of the night, which would normally not bother him much, except for the fact he felt the other’s leg hitting into him everytime he moved. Pearkit normally was a deep sleeper, as he was just the type that enjoyed sleeping more than anything else. One would think his mother and father would rather let him sleep then to wake him, but that never seemed to be the case. Pearkit did not see why he needed to be up so early, course he could sense the excitement of his other siblings. Huffing in annoyance as he gives up, why he had to have this many siblings? He would never understand. Scowling to himself as he slowly sits up, his thick curled dark fur sticking up at odd angles from tossing and turning.
His pear golden yellow eyes peer open from his squinted lids, narrowing his gaze as he watches Opalkit, Honeykit, and Oxkit scurry off with Snarlingbadger not far behind. Clicking his dry tongue against the roof of his mouth as the large kit wordlessly slinks out of the nest. Flicking his fluffy tail side to side sharply, Honeykit was going to pay for keeping him up most of the night. Noticing that his mother was already gone, probably having given up on waking him up and went about her day. Shivering slightly at the strong gush of wind brushes against his small form. He could not help but begin to second guess his decision to leave the warmth of his nest. It was only a brief moment of hesitation as he catchers a glimpse of Honeykit and Opalkit messing around together in the snow. ‘Bingo’ Pearkit thought with a small smirk, trying his best to stay out of sight, not caring if anyone other than Honey saw him.
Ears twitching at hearing Oxkit yell run, at first he thought his plan had been foiled, but soon realized that Oxkit had hit their dad instead of Honey. Lowering more into the snow, wiggling his rump as his yellow gaze stays locked on Honeykit before pouncing. His paws grasping hold of the golden brown and white kit’s shoulders, forcing them both into the snow. Grinning to himself as he towers over his brother, a low growl escapes his maw. It was not a threatening growl, more borderline playful and annoyed. Pearkit has always been the silent brooding type, he never had many words to say. Not that he could not talk, he just never felt comfortable enough to do so, usually communicating with growls, grunts, his facial expressions, and his actions. Arching a brow at Honey as he gives him a less than impressed look, as if silently asking; ‘What do you have to say for yourself?’
