Honeypaw
Thunderclan Apprentice
The ginger tuxedo was carefully making his way into the camp, it was very late within the night and everyone had retired to their dens after a long day. Everyone except him. Honeypaw just couldn't sleep! These days, the large tom has become extremely restless as of recently with everything happening. If it wasn’t the serial killer on the loose, it was the everyday life of an apprentice. Growing up wasn’t an easy thing, he certainly knew that. Honeypaw always seeked comfort in his brother Badgerpaw and Bunnypaw, his younger sister. Since kithood, he always found himself closer with the two more than anyone.
Of course there was Lilypool as well.
Honeypaw’s relationship with Lilypool was slightly complicated, he couldn’t describe it. His mentor and him were very close friends and trained together, but she kept him at an arm's length like everyone else. Badgerpaw had reassured him, telling him that every mentor was like that. Snapping out of his thoughts, it wasn’t until he spotted Bunnypaw leaving the apprentices den as well. A boyish grin appeared on his face once seeing his sister “Come on Slowpoke.” Honeypaw teased, his light blue eyes shined with excitement. Bunnypaw and Honeypaw had a lot of heart to heart talks, something he couldn’t really have with anyone else. Would Lilypool and Bunnypaw’s mentor be upset in the morning? Sure, but both of them could deal with the consequences in the morning.
Both of them went towards the middle of the clearing, suddenly the massive tom had flopped down on his back and Honeypaw had let out a long sigh. Feeling his smaller sister laying next to him, he turned his head to look over at her “You think that when I earn my warrior name, they’ll let me go straight to the elder’s den? Certainly feel my bones cracking with the amount of training I had recently.” Honeypaw joked, but certainly could tell something was on Bunnypaw’s mind. “What’s on your mind Rabbit?” He questioned, using his nickname that he gave her when they were kits. Growing up was certain, but family and love was something they would permanently be dealing with for the rest of their lives.
