Letting out a soft and cheerful tone though humming, her dark green gaze was looking straight ahead as the small Maine Coon had a skip in her step. Dahlia couldn’t help but become excited, she had been waiting to show Timberhawk what she had been working on. It was the perfect surprise for him! Dahlia had been working incredibly hard on this den for her and Timberhawk to stay at, so they could be together with no worries about being caught.. Why? Because Timberhawk was madly in love with her that’s why! Silly tom, Dahlia knew how much her Hawk loves her. It wasn’t rocket science. The brown tom kept denying it but Dahlia could easily see it in his eyes, the way that he looked at her as if she was the most craziest molly in the world. It was truly romantic with how her Hawk saw her.
“My Hawk, come along now!” Dahlia said in a sing-song voice, looking back at the tall brown tom who was looking back at her with an arched eyebrow. The silver and white Maine Coon had told him nothing about this surprise, he even tried going home but she stopped him and made him follow her instead. Cheeky tom, Timberhawk should know better than attempt to leave.. Not when he hasn’t spent time with his love yet! Slowing down so the molly wouldn’t lose sight of him, the small molly pressed herself into the taller tom as she could care less about personal space withTimberhawk “I promise that you’ll love it, I’ve put a lot of time and effort into it.. So you better at least like it” Dahlia said the last part under her breath, but she swore that Timberhawk could hear it with the small chuckle that he gave.
As she was focused on the pathway ahead, Dahlia’s dark green gaze lit up when noticing they had arrived. In the middle of the clearing was a huge willow tree, the entrance had a bush so no one can enter out of curiosity. Looking at Timberhawk, she beckoned her head towards the direction of the willow tree. The tree was located in the neutral part of the Shadowclan-Windclan border, so it would be easy for both of them to get to. For the past few months, Dahlia had been learning about Timberhawk.. studying him and seeing his general interests. Of course Timberhawk thought it was perhaps creepy, and borderline Psychotic but she could care less. Dahlia was in love with Timberhawk, and he should be feeling the same way to her.
“You're so slow, My silly Hawk!” Dahlia said with the biggest smile on her face, the small molly quickly nudged her nose against his shoulder to get him moving. Quickly bounding to the entrance, her eyes lit up when turning to the Windclan warrior “You ready?” The silver and white molly questioned before moving forward to embrace him. She had gotten away with it due to Timberhawk asking some kind of question, as she usually embraced him when he became distracted. Silly tom. Don’t get distracted around Dahlia, she got a mind of her own. Rubbing her cheek against his chest, Dahlia released a purr before stepping back and looking at the bush and letting out a giggle before going through it.
Timberhawk better not think of ditching her, or she would chase after him and drag him by the tail into seeing this surprise.

The silver and white molly was looking down at her paws, it was quite a confession.. Dahlia was nervous about telling the tall male in front of her about how she truly felt, how in love she was towards him. It didn’t matter about who he was, where he was from or what family he belonged to.. Dahlia was in love with him. She loved how mischievous he could be, or how he struck his tongue at the side of his mouth slighly when he was focused on something. Everything about Timberhawk was perfect to Dahlia.. Even when he didn’t see much in himself, she saw so much in him. It wasn’t until she heard the older tom’s cold laugh that caused her blood to run cold, numbness overtook her af his words. The silver and white molly was surprised, she was caught off guard “…What?” Dahlia whispered, confusion and hurt was on her face. Her dark green eyes were searching into his jade green eyes, trying to find some kind of explanation to his words..
But she couldn’t find anything
“I never..” Dahlia began to speak, her ears pinned to her head as she listens to the taller tom. The molly felt uncomfortable in that moment, quickly backing away. The molly never expected Timberhawk fo join her in Shadowclan. Heck, even she hadn’t expected Grizzly to join her when they became engaged. She didn’t care about distance, it was the last thing she cared about. Her feelings came from the heart. His words had pierced through her heart, feeling it shattering into millions of pieces. Timberhawk’s words had hurt, as if he grabbed some kind of stake and stabbed her through the heart. Trying to swallow the lump in her throat, tears were suddenly streaming down her face, his final words were the nails in the coffin for her. The molly flinched when the tom had an outburst, flinging the bowl of crushed berries into the wall and causing it to go flying everywhere including the two felines.
Dahlia sniffles quietly, looking down at her paws. Something within her snapped; she wasn’t looking down at her paws this time out of shyness, her dark green eyes had no emotion when looking up at him, his back turned towards her.
What she felt towards Timberhawk was anger and resentment.
He hurt her.
“Screw you Timberhawk” Dahlia said through gritted teeth as the rustic brown tom was padding out of her den, he never stopped to even look back at her. The silver and white molly’s chest was rising and falling heavily, tears fully streaming down her face and she was gasping for air. It felt like the walls were closing in on her, like she was drowning. Something inside Dahlia snapped, and the small molly let out a loud scream before suddenly starting to tear into everything. The moss nest was being torn into, the feathers and moss were flying everywhere. Objects being thrown into the walls, crashing into pieces. Tears were streaming down her face while Dahlia was currently hyperventilating.
It wasn’t until she looked at the shells and pebbles that she had gifted Timberhawk, how the male had rejected them because they were too Riverclan and not good enough for him. “Fuck!” Dahlia shouted, her paw swiping at the shells and causing them to smash into the wall and shattering into millions of pieces. The pebbles were thrown outside of the den and into the front entrance, along with the broken bowl of crushed berries. The silver and white molly couldn’t tell who broke the bowl first, her or Timber. It was like a new side of Dahlia had come out, her instability was clear now.. But to be fair, it was Timberhawk who drove her to that point.
She hadn’t even noticed that underneath her paws were bleeding from stepping on the broken pieces of shells, Dahlia was just so numb that she couldn’t feel the emotional and physical pain that she was suffering. Looking over at the emerald that she had given him, her dark green eyes were lit in anger. Grabbing the jewel and throwing it, the molly collapsed into the broken nest and began sobbing. Her body was shaking, loud sobs escaped her as the once preppy and happy molly.. Was broken.
The once beautiful den was completely destroyed, just like the molly who attempted to create a home in it with one of the men that she loved.. All she wanted was his love, but now Dahlia knew that she wanted nothing to do with him.
