Seemed like it took a whole season for Fallowstream to recover from his near death experience, successfully surviving the Black Throat Plague. Thankfully she had talked her sister in taking her shift for the night patrol, Fallowstream had finally been cleared to leave the medicine cat den and it was high time that they had a moments peace with one another. Dark orange eyes gleamed as she hurried from the Warriors den, after changing out her nest and adding extra moss so he had a spot with her, she spotted her Tom looking around awkwardly. Smiling softly to herself, the short and slender dark red and white splotched feline padded over to the tabby Tom, leaning on her toes to rub her cheek against his shoulder blade as she came to stand beside him. “Every time I see you, your looking around with a confused look.” Roseshine chirped in amusement.
“Ready to get out of here for a little while?” She asked with soft smile, noticing how his facial expression brightened while she purred. “Perfect.” She hummed, walking ahead of him as her tail tip cheekily flicked his cheek. “Come on. I have something planned for the both of us.” Roseshine felt pleased that she had put some thought into this. “Let’s get some fresh air and quiet.” She laughed airily as she led the way out of camp, glancing over her shoulder to see her new mate following closely on her heels.

She let out a soft laugh at the look she was given, that pout spoke volumes as she purred and stepped closer to lightly press her flank to his. “I have been told this one or twice before. I would blame my fur but it’s not exactly the ShadowClan norm.” Roseshine smirked slightly, gazing up at the tomcat as she felt giddy for their date to truly begin. Purring, she was pleased to see that he was just as excited as her, maybe even more so as she let out a soft trill. “Good, then lets not waste anymore time.” She hummed with a soft smile. After the black throat plague and the clan just recently recovering and rebuilding after the avalanche. They were long overdue a moment of peace and silence to themselves.
New-leaf was on the way, the snow melting on the ground and the birds chirping through the forest to announce its arrival. Perfect for bringing Fallowstream to the meadow where he could relax. Making sure she wasn’t walking too quickly, she slowed her pace to press her side up against the big tom, her tail weaving with his. “Are you excited to be going back to your warrior duties tomorrow?” She asked softly, her dark orange eyes watching him curiously. Honestly, she was a little nervous about it. Was he really ready? Roseshine knew he was healed and healthy but it still gave her anxiety to think of her husband wheezing and stumbling in the forest trying to hunt. “Maybe you should wait one more day?” The quick daydream prompted her to say, ears lightly pressing against the top of her head. Sighing softly as he shook his head and reassured that he was ready to get back on his feet, she still felt cautious.
After a while the two felines were nearing the tree line to the small patch of meadow that they did own from WindClan. It had been a peace offering from so long ago that she didn’t even know the full story, just that pheasants liked to lay their eggs in the tall grass this time of year. Breathing in deeply, she let out a soft sigh, her eyes closing. “New-leaf.” She hummed softly, her dark red and white patched fur ruffling as she finally stepped out into the meadow, stretching out her front legs. “Have you ever had a fresh egg?” She questioned, noticing his confused expression as she grinned. “Well, hopefully. We will find some.” Roseshine purred.
