Starlingfall
Thunderclan Warrior
Starlingfall had been watching Snarlingbadger for a while, the massive tuxedo tom was taking shelter beneath a tree from the gentle snowfall that arrived. Her feathery tail was flicking back and forth for a moment, debating her actions. Ever since hearing about his separation from his former mate, he had been incredibly lonely. His kits were there for him, especially Opalshine. But Starlingfall could sense that he was acting okay for the sake of his children, that he was actually suffering inside. Biting the inside of her cheek, the small molly stood up from her spot at the entrance of warriors’ den before making her way towards him with determination on her face.
No one should ever feel alone
The small blue and white molly laid down beside him, keeping her distance from him but enough that their sides would brush together. Watching the massive male for a moment, a soft smile appeared on her face before bowing her head slightly in greetings “Hi.. My name is Starlingfall, I wanted to check in and see how you were doing.” The molly said, watching his almost unreadable facial expression. She was debating her actions, would he accept such an invitation?
“I was wondering if you would escort me into the woods so we can find some Frosted Lilies? I’ve been wanting to search for them lately, but I’ve been wanting a proper escort.” Starlingfall said, rolling on her back and gazing up at him. The molly was gentle and soft spoken compared to her sister, but she wasn’t a shy soul. It would be a perfect opportunity to get to know the tom better as well, he was so mysterious to her that Starlingfall couldn’t help but become curious of Snarlingbadger and his ways.

Although it was cute how she could stop and admire the scenery, attempting to make light of the situation as she stuck her tongue out to catch a flake. He couldn’t find it within himself to even crack a smile. The snow was cold and icy and although beautiful, it would leave just a quick as it came. Jaw tightening slightly as he kept walking by her, she could enjoy the snow if she wanted, he was going to keep a look out like she had wanted. Pale yellow eyes roaming through the forest, although it wasn’t dark out, there was an eerie silence to the forest that came with snow fall. Nostrils flaring when she apologized for her behavior, shrugging his shoulder and lowering his head to step under a low hanging branch on a bush.
White flowers with blue tips, he supposed that would sound like a frosted lily. Humming softly as he looked around through the slow falling snow, his toes crunching the frozen leaves below him. Grunting in response, he didn’t see any magical glowing flowers at the current moment but he also guessed that he wasn’t looking very hard. His mind else where. Ears flattening against his head when she bumped her hip against his, looking down at her before he gave a brief smile. He had thought she had seen something wrong but she was only trying to be playful.
Tea with honey. That sounded lovely when his throat was burning so rawly, clearing it again, the Tom gave a mother nod before he watched her sniff the air. Starlingfall’s eyes lit up with recognition, his tail tip twitching slightly as he lifted his own nose to search for the scent she described. Nodding his head and beginning to pad off into the specific direction. Pausing only when she pressed her paw into a patch of blank snow, leaving her mark behind. Blinking in surprise as she looked up at him with a giggle, eyes roaming her face before looking back down at the lonely print. Shaking out his pelt, the Tom ignored it, continuing to walk the path with his short fur sticking up.
