Dayfall
Windclan Warrior
The ginger tom was quickly making his way through Windclan territory, grumbling curse words under his breath with his bi-colored ember eyes narrowed. He was a couple of minutes late, Dayfall hoped that Beakrose didn’t think she was being stood up. He was ready to get ready to leave camp until his father asked him to watch other Airkit and Wolfkit while Peppernose took a moment to stretch her legs. While Dayfall listened to his father and watched over his little sisters, he also grew inpatient and was about to say that he had some sort of emergency to attend to until Peppernose arrived at the last moment. Things hadn’t been easy since Wildclan was divided, Dayfall held resentment towards Pinepaw ever since his eldest brother decided to side with Sandadder and joined his followers in leaving the camp. He thought his brother was selfish, wasn’t thinking logically and was dividing his family.. As if Tinyflame’s passing didn’t take an emotional toll already.
Shaking his head for a moment to clear his thoughts, now wasn’t the time to think about the drama going back home. Right now he was going to see his best friend. Dayfall gave no information about the civil war happening in Windclan to her, or the real reasoning. After all, her mother Wildstar was the main reasoning why there was such an explosive fight within the meeting in the first place after Sandadder accused the Thunderclan leader that she ‘killed’ Dayfall’s grandfather Wolfstar. It didn’t matter to the ginger tom, it was in the past. The whole meeting was pointless in the first place, and it left Windclan full of tension from both groups.
His expression soften when spotting Beakrose waiting nearby their usual rock. The two felines always met in a neutral spot, the two usually getting away from their responsibilities from the clans and escaping into their own world. A smile appeared on his lips when he bumped his head into Beakrose’s shoulder and a loud purr escaped him “I’m so sorry that I was late, I had to babysit my little sisters” Dayfall explained, as he generally felt bad that he had made her wait. He couldn’t help but be in awe of his little sisters, how both of them were growing up so fast. It reminded him of his childhood with Pinepaw, how the two brothers were inseparable when they grew up. Letting out a small sigh through his nose, his eyes lit up when looking down at her “I got my warrior name a couple of days ago!” Dayfall said, and saw how her eyes lit up and he released a loud purr when nudging her playfully
“Sorry Beakrose, you were wrong.. I’m not Daymountain, but Dayfall” He chuckled, as the pretty molly always called him a mountain since he seemed to had inherited his father’s large size. Beckoning his head towards the territory, he wanted to go take a stroll with her. It had been almost a two weeks since their last meeting, as they had to make quick arrangements when both happened to ‘accidently’ see each other during the afternoon patrols. As if they didn’t volunteer themselves to go on those patrols at every moment they could. As the two began to pad towards the meadow, he looked towards her and pressed his nose towards her shoulder before a grin appeared on his face “How’s my favorite gal doing?” He questioned her, generally wanting to know how she had been since they last saw each other.
Beakrose |The Free Spirited of Thunderclan|
Pouting still when he mentions the fact that she now owes him a sparrow. “Fineeee since you won fair and square, you shall try sparrow on our next get together” Beakrose promises with a warm smile. He was too cute. Though she still could not believe that Desertstar wasted such an opportunity with naming him Daymountain, she would certainly have to talk to the Windclan leader about that whenever she is given such a chance. Glancing away briefly from the large ginger tabby, her gaze flickering over the trees swaying in the calming breeze, it was not until he paused them both does she look back over at him. Tilting her chin up slightly, arching a brow before he gently rubs his cheek against hers. Relaxing into his touch before scowling playfully at him, “You are just trying to butter me up” she jokes softly as he promises her rabbit even when she lost the bet. “No I lost. I’ll just have to win the next bet to try that rabbit” Beak stubbornly states with a shake to her cranium. What’s the point of a bet if he was going to give into her anyways? Such a gentleman.
Beckoning for him to resume their stroll, wondering what he had in store for them today. Beakrose found the large warrior adorable in how he loved to plan their dates and woo her, as if she wasn’t already completely smitten with the lad! Swinging their intertwined tails lightly side to side, humming a soft happy tune to fill their peaceful mood. Gasping softly as he pulls her even closer, her smaller slim frame pressing against his tall broad form as he kisses her forehead, her cheeks heating up tremendously as his lips linger against her skin before his sweet words caress her ears. Purring quietly, trying to contain her lovey dovey smile, she hated how much of a sap she was around him. Usually such words would not affect her coming from anyone else, but from him? She was always a ooey gooey mess when it concerned DayFall. “You sure know how to flatter a girl” she tries to cover up her girly swoon, clearing her throat as she smiles. Knowing she didn’t cover up her smile quick enough by the knowing smile of Day’s lips. “Shut up…”
Opening her mouth to protest the fact that flies would not enter her mouth, but quickly closes her mouth instead. Laughing softly as his hip bumps into hers knocking her off balance slight but not enough to fall over. “Lead the way my mountain man!” After several minutes of catching up and teasing one another they come upon a lake, the sun’s rays flickering over the blue water, causing it to shimmer pleasantly. “Oh wow!” Beakrose mutters excitedly to herself as she goes to approach the lake, turning slightly to look over her shoulder, ready to beckon Dayfall to follow, only to realize that he had been staring at her fondly the majority of the time. Grinning as Day realizes he has been caught red handed, just when she goes to tease him for staring, he calls her beautiful. Beak did not think she could ever get tired of hearing him say that, every time such a compliment escapes him, her heart would flutter in her chest. Biting her lower lip as she shyly looks at her paws as he kisses her temple. Day was being surprisingly affectionate, not that she was complaining at all!
Regaining her composure before allowing her pineapple yellow eyes to meet his two toned amber ones. Seeing the sincere honesty and love in his eyes brought a wave of emotions upon her. Standing on her tippy toes, her lips barely able to brush against his as she gives him a simple loving kiss. “Thank you” she breathes before allowing him to lead her closer to the lake before settling down. Snuggling closer to him as he pulls her into him. Feeling warm and protected with Dayfall around her, leaning her head upon him as she watches the small waves caress the stones. “Hmmm what else would be good decoration for a nest?” She wonders, secretly trying to weasel out just what he likes for a nest to make it feel like home. “I like hawk or falcon feathers in mine, though they are hard to come by” she offhandedly mentions. Subconsciously moving her smaller paws towards his, massaging her toe beans into his, loving being so close to him.
“Oh I am sure you did fine without me” Beakrose assures with a huff of laughter. Though she does nuzzle him, “But I really missed you too” Beakrose adds. Cuddling into her mountain of a man, purring as she felt comfortable and loved. Sitting here with Dayfall by the lake is all she needed. She was content and happy.
Dayfall
Windclan Warrior
A bright grin appeared on the ginger toned tom, his feathery tail waving back and forth as he was pleased to see Beakrose. The two padded towards the trail that they had been familiar with by now, it had been moons since the two first met as apprentices.. Dayfall had felt like he knew her for all of his life. Letting out a soft hum, the massive tom leaned down to press a gentle kiss on her temple “You owe me a sparrow now” The tom said cheekily, his two toned ember eyes lit up in mischief. The beautiful molly had him convinced that his name would become Daymountain due to his size, and thought she would win the bet that she enacted the week before his ceremony.. But alas, he won. Seeing Beakrose looking up at him with a pout and giving him the puppy dog eyes, the tom stopped the pair of them for a moment before lowering his head to rub his cheek against hers and letting out a soft purr “I’ll catch you a rabbit when we meet next.” Dayfall said gently, as he didn’t want his lady to be upset that she lost a bet. The young tom had planned on getting her a rabbit anyways, Beakrose was always taken care of nicely whenever Dayfall was around her.
Feeling Beakrose intertwining their tails together, Dayfall gently brought her in until the small molly was pressed against her side. A soft chuckle escaped him, turning to look down at Beakrose. Moving to leave a lingering kiss on her forehead, he nodded to her “You always bring a smile on my face whenever you’re around, lighting up my world when there’s darkness.” Dayfall muttered to her, whispering sweet nothings into her ear. The massive tom could tell that Beakrose was swooning with his words, a smile appeared on his face. Dayfall knew that he had quite a way with words, the best part was that she knew he was being genuine. Turning to look at Beakrose, he arched an eyebrow playfully as he could tell that she was indeed swooning and looking at him with the biggest smile on her face. “Come on, My Queen.. I don’t want flies entering your mouth.” Dayfall teased, bumping his hip against hers so she could break out of her thoughts.
As the pair kept padding, it wasn’t until the two finally made it to the lake that he had found the other night while aimlessly wandering around the neutral territory. Dayfall always wanted his lady happy, to make sure that she always had a smile on her face whenever they were together. There were butterflies fluttering in his stomach at the sight of Beakrose, words couldn’t describe how much Dayfall loves Beakrose. It wasn’t until he noticed that Beakrose had caught him staring, a bright grin appeared and shook his head in amusement “You’re so beautiful” The ginger tom breathed leaning down to leave a gentle kiss on her temple, her warm pineapple golden eyes looking into his ember ones. Looking towards the beautiful lake, he noticed the sun hitting the water and causing the reflection to reflect on the sky clearly. As the pair were looking at the scenery in front of them, Dayfall lowered himself until the tom was laying down. Once the tom was settled, Dayfall watched as Beakrose moved until the molly settled next to him. Letting out a soft hum, his massive paw bringing her in closer.
Curling around Beakrose, Dayfall placed his feathery tail around her in a protective way. A grin appeared on his face when an idea hit him, and bumped his shoulder into her own gently “We gotta go to that beach, go find some shells for the den” The tom said, knowing that Beakrose had mentioned that she wanted their den to feel a bit more homey as of late. Dayfall couldn’t have agreed more, the tom was actually excited about this new chapter of life. Considering that a lot had gone wrong, Beakrose and Hailgaze were the ones who kept him grounded. His bond with the beautiful Thunderclan warrior and his father was unbreakable, he had wished that the two could meet and just know that they were the ones who kept Dayfall sane.. But he knew the Windclan deputy wouldn’t have approved of his bond with Beakrose as she was from another clan. Turning to look at her, the two toned ginger warrior couldn’t believe how breathtaking she was, how she was truly one of the most beautiful she-cats in all of the clans.
Watching the birds at the tree nearby, Dayfall felt her smaller paws going towards his own. Looking down at Beakrose’s paw rubbing her toe beans into his own, he smiled and nuzzled into her “I missed you Beak, couldn’t stop thinking of you” He admitted to her, before allowing her to rest her head on his broad chest and enjoy the moment of peace and quiet. Dayfall had a day of activities planned for her, as he wanted to make special memories with her.
Beakrose |Free Spirit of Thunderclan|
Sighing softly to herself as the Abyssinian molly settles near their waiting spot. Her golden pineapple gaze flickering around as she waits for Dayfall to make his grand entrance. It still amazes her that the two had formed such a friendship that ended growing into something more. Beakrose knew it was wrong that she should never have befriended DayFall all those moons ago, but she could not deny that she was smitten with his sweet and caring personality from the moment they met. She was generally surprised when Day had expressed wanting to continue their secret get togethers. It excited her—having a secret that only they knew as if anyone within Thunderclan or Windclan found out…both of them would be punished or even exiled from their respective clans. The tip of her tail flicking sporadically as she could not help but feel mildly nervous that maybe something had come up and DayFall would not be able to make it.
That was one of the hardest parts of having a relationship outside of her clan was organizing when they could meet. Slyly volunteering on patrols in hopes to cross paths to secretly pass messages to another on when their next scheduled date would be. Biting her lower lip as her nervousness also turned into excitement as it had been at least 2 weeks since the two properly met up at their usual spot. Beak could tell that something was going on with Day but was not exactly sure on the extent. She wanted to ask him, to question what had been troubling him the last few weeks, but had been hesitant to ask. Afraid of the answer. Snapping her head in Dayfall’s direction, his calming scent wafting around her. Smiling brightly as he lightly bumps his large cranium against her shoulder. “Hello stranger” she purrs as she nuzzles his cheek in greeting.
"It’s okay I knew you would be here soon enough” Beakrose reassures. She understood that he had duties not only to his clan but his family. She could tell that he was thrilled with his two new sisters. Perking up even more, back straightening as her yellow eyes widen in excitement. She had earned her warrior name a moon before—remembering how thrilled she was to tell him her name. “Is it DayMountain?!” Beakrose teases with a smirk on her lips, which soon turns into a childish pout when he ruins her dreams. “What! They missed a perfect opportunity” she playfully sighs before winking at him. “Don’t worry—you will always be DayMountain to me” she says, her voice holding a singing tone as she bats her eyelashes at the large ginger tom.
Rising gracefully to her paws, leaning into DayFall as he takes the lead. Slowly intertwining their tails together with a small smile on her lips. Tucking her cranium under his chin as she purrs softly, “I’ve been good” she starts. Enjoying their little stroll, hearing Jay birds singing melodies around them as they get closer to the meadow. “Just been going on patrols more as well as hanging out with Bonesnatcher” she admits, a fond smile appearing as she mentions her younger brother. “How have you been? You seem like you are in a good mood” she points out with a warm smile. Beakrose was relieved that he seemed happier as last time she could definitely tell something was bothering him then, and could still be affecting him now. Beakrose did not want to push DayFall into confining in her, as she did not want to push him away. It was a confusing dilemma that the Abyssinian molly did not know how to handle at the moment. "It's not because of me is it? I do know I have that affect on certain felines" Beakrose says with a cheeky grin on her lips.
Course she knew that Dayfall was happy to see her, as she was thrilled to see him.
