Desertstar sat up slowly and touched the wadded up cobwebs along her neck, wincing a bit. It’d been a few days since Sandadder’s group had attacked her camp, and she finally felt well enough to move around. Pushing the furs away from her body, and careful not to alert the medicine cat, she stepped out of her nest. It was dark, but she could hear gentle puffs of breath and the occasional snore drifting from the occupied nests. Most of the injured were still asleep, and judging by the thin line of gold on the horizon, dawn was only a few hours away. As quietly as she could, she stepped outside of the abandoned cabin and went straight to her hillside, not wanting to disturb anyone— or speak to anyone for that matter. Not until she could think of how to safely get her children back.

Greenleaf is in full flush. Temperatures reach nearly unbearable hights. Long-furred cats should stray from the sun.

Lighthollow
Windclan Warrior
Despite the way his brother's voice made him jolt with surprise, Lighthollow spun to face him with a cockiness that the young warrior had displayed since he was a kit. His brother... of course it would be him. He was Windclan's deputy, after all, he should have expected this. Especially after Desertstar's kits had been taken.
His tail lashed as he stared into Hailgaze's eyes, baring his teeth in a snarl. He had to keep up his traitorous appearance, for his own sake, if nothing else.
"I will go when I have got what I want." He spat, "You won't tell me when I leave."
As Desertstar spoke, his eyes flashed to her, and he forced his hackles to lie flat. Nodding his head, he turned his back to the two cats.
"...Good. You won't regret your choice." The smirk he flashed over his shoulder was laced with mocking, the white-pelted tom disappearing quickly into the long grasses of the moor. Once he was certain he was out of their sight, he started running, his heart thrumming in his chest.
He just hoped he could believe his own words.
