Sweetleaf Skyclan Warrior “Are you sure about this?” The black and ginger tortoiseshell molly whispered softly towards Scorchmountain as the two young felines were making their way towards a lake nearby the camp. Rumors were going around that the recent storm had uncovered glowing crystals under the clear water lake, causing the water to start glowing in the night. A lot of Scorchmountain’s siblings had expressed their interest in wanting to head towards this secret lake.. However, it appeared that they never would head over there.. Sweetleaf suspected it had something to do with the handsome ginger tom beside her. The small molly had wondered why the large tom had taken such interest in her.. She was a runt, a small molly that would get sick so easily.. So many other felines would take pity on her while attempting to treat her like she was a delicate piece of glass, while Scorchmountain was perhaps one of the only felines that treated her normally without judging her. Listening to her best friend’s words, a small smile appeared on her lips. Both herself and Scorchmountain were complete opposites of each other, it was very amusing. Her light green eyes were in awe of her surroundings, the sky was lit of Silverpelt.. The gentle sway of the branches had caused the leaves to move back and forth while a couple of flower petals had flown within the breeze. “It’s so beautiful out here.” Sweetleaf breathed in, her eyes glowing in wonder. Scorchmountain had certainly known how to choose certain paths, he was certainly an explorer, a daredevil at best.
It wasn’t until both of them were at the entrance of lake, Scorchmountain’s massive body had came in front of of her smaller body to block the view. A pout formed on her lips and tried to go on her tippy toes to take a sneak peek of the beautiful crystal lake in front of her. “Scorch! Let me see!” Sweetleaf whined slightly, giving him a look while her cheeks expanded with the air that filled within it. What did her best friend have in store for her? Sitting down and poking her paw into his broad shoulder “Scorchmountain, you better show me what we’re doing! You promised me to teach me to properly swim.. Climbing trees wasn't enough for you.” Sweetleaf had teased him.
