Winter
Assassin
The sounds of trash cans falling into the ground was heard in the distance, the sounds of screeched and yowls echoing throughout the night. A figure lured within the shadows, moving quietly and effectively. His mind was completely blank, no emotions. It was as if he was merely a robot, following orders. The black and gray Ragdoll-Maine Coon was moving slightly within the night like a ghost, undetected. Winter was assigned to meet an ally of the Red Moon, to begin training her as she was one of the newest recruits. Hydro had seemed determined to take over the city, for Riot to finally have his control over it. How did Winter end up in this situation? The black and gray tom wasn’t quite so sure about that.
The only proper memories that the large Maine Coon-Ragdoll tom had woken up with a lot of felines surrounding him in the middle of the ally before they knocked him out once more with a stick. There wasn’t any memories that came to Winter’s mind, nothing about his past or relationships. Feeling the slight pain in his left shoulder before glancing at it. The assassin didn’t know how he sustained these wounds.. Many scars were surrounding his arm with what appeared to be a star carved into the middle of his arm from Hydro. A grunt escaped Winter has he finally spotted a small shape near the meeting location, before suddenly moving into the shadows of the ally. The large tom didn’t speak as much, his only way of communicating was through his facial expressions or grunting. It was very rare for Winter to speak.
His light blue eyes were focused on the small shape of the molly. His student was very petite, almost delicate. Winter was wondering at that moment what caused her to join the Red Moon? Winter couldn’t think of any of these questions, the tom had a mission. Moving quietly through the darkness, it wasn’t until Winter was behind Jinx. Letting out a small breath through his nostrils, the tom suddenly leaped forward and quickly jumped out of the shadows. Winter was very quick and his left arm reached out and curved claws connected into Jinx’s hind leg and suddenly yanked it towards him which caused the smaller molly to be dragged towards him. The assassin grunted slightly as his unreadable expression looked into the shocked expression of Jinx. The larger tom slammed her back into the ground and pinned her.
Letting out a snort, Winter looked at her for a moment before narrowing his eyes. Observing Jinx, he could see that the white and gray molly’s chest was rising back and forth quickly. Jinx needed to get used to sneak attacks, someone could attack her when she least expected it. This was a test, to see if Jinx could handle training underneath his wing. If the small assassin couldn’t, Winter was simply ordered to kill her from the Red Moon handlers and dispose of her body near the end of the city. Looking down at her, his curved claws began to dig deeper into her skin while his eyebrows furrowed. There was almost a crazed look into her eyes, something he never really saw before. How was the small molly going to react to his attack?
Jinx |Chaotic Assassin|
‘Ugh why was I sent here again? This place is a dump’ the small Smokey grey and silvery marbled long-haired she-cat inwardly complains. Her powder blue eyes flicker around in boredom, she knew that Red Moon was unsure of her unpredictable personality, yet she was not idiotic enough to not realize that the assassins organization needed her. The chaotic molly had proved more than once that she could take out a target. Okay…sure many got killed or harmed in the process but the job was taken care of! Isn’t that what matters? Humming softly at the thought, her claw hooking against a mouse’s tail as she toys with the terrified critter. It was her source of entertainment until her new ‘mentor’ shows up. Jinx could already tell whoever was to train her had a secret flare of dramatics. Why else would they be taking their sweet time!
“It’s okay little fella! I ain’t gonna kill you!” She whispers to the brown mouse as she drags it closer. “At least not yet! Gotta have something to do in this dump” she muses with a grin. Arching a brow as she felt a faint breath caress the back of her neck. Just when Jinx begins to turn to greet the one to ruin her time with her new toy, does she feel his claws hook against her hind leg, knocking her off balance to the ground. Grunting in displeasure as her powder blue eyes lock with icy blue as the large tom towers over her. She could see no emotions in his icy depths, they sent her a dud? She was hoping for someone with a little more…flare.
“Dang! You sure know how to sneak up on someone! Surprising with how big you are! Sorry fella but if you didn’t know…you are like a brick wall!” Jinx casually expresses with an amused grin. The young molly could instantly tell that Winter did not think much of her, he already deemed her unworthy of his time. Now, Jinx is not the type to care what others think, but she never liked when others thought of her as no threat. ‘I am not weak! I’ll show this poser!’ She wildly thought. Jinx hadn’t realized she was muttering to herself, her crazed eyes flickering around aimlessly.
Her mind clouded with brief glimpses of memories of strangers calling her a jinx, to seeing faces of some of her old childhood friends that she killed accidentally. “Wow Mister! You are so strong!” Jinx coos before grasping for some dirt, flinging it in his face. Smirking as she uses his distraction to kick him off of her, satisfied when he flings back into a trash can. Sighing dramatically as she rises to her paws, using her fluffy tail to flick muck off of her. “Ah sorry about that…I accidentally did that on purpose” Jinx hysterically laughs even though nothing was particularly funny.
“You’re not laughing…!” Jinx suddenly says, groaning dramatically as she flings the mouse at Winter. “You’re starting to bore me. Glad I didn’t waste my favorite toys and tricks on you, big hunk” she pads a few steps away as settles down. “Well? What now? Please tell me they didn’t send me a broken toy” Jinx scrunches up her nose as Winter still doesn’t utter a word. ‘How boring’.
