Loid Spy This should be a simple mission right? Find a “mate”, obtain a kit and successfully join Skyclan correct? If it was only that simple. A small sigh escaped through the blonde male’s nostrils as Loid was moving through the city, his steps were light and quiet. Seasons of being a spy had paid off in his favor, being successful in every mission that he partook in. The codename Twilight had suited him well. His ears perked up at the sound of a squeaky voice behind him, in awe of the lights around them. “Anya, we need to get moving.” Loid’s voice was slightly firm, before sighing softly at the small pawsteps that were quickly following after him. His “daughter” was quite a handful, Anya was certainly different from other kits that he encountered within the city.. Although, she would be very useful in his current operation: Operation Sky. The mission? Grow closer to the eldest daughter of Twilightfoot and her mate, the leader of one of the forest groups.. Find out about the two felines, and eliminate them. If only it would be that easy. It was harder to obtain a mate, he had one of his sources find some eligible females that were single. So far, none of them had caught his eye. Time was starting to run out, he needed to figure out how to join Skyclan without it looking very suspicious. Joining on his own wouldn’t do any favors but having a family wouldn’t look so bad. Taking a slight turn into an alley way as there was a spot that Anya could get properly groomed. Fatherhood wasn’t something that Loid was used to, it was completely new to him. The small kit proved to be very smart, but she did seem aloof. Anya would be useful in befriending one of Aurora’s kits, and it would let him get more into her and Firestar’s inner circle. “Papa says I need grooming!” Anya’s voice broke through his inner thoughts as they had finally made it to the Grooming area, Sandra was good with long fur, his sources told him that. Loid faked a smile while tilting his face slightly to look at the black and rose-gold molly “My daughter needs proper grooming! She will start training soon.” Loid said, looking towards his daughter before ushering her to the older molly. His blue gaze was focused on Anya and Sandra, a small smile formed on his face when watching the younger molly telling the older molly what she wanted. Anya May had not been the brightest kit that he picked out.. But she definitely had a bright future ahead of her once this mission was finished.. Although that future wouldn’t be involving him, Loid would most likely drop her back off at the orphanage.. But he would make sure that the next felines that would pick her as their daughter would be wonderful ones.
It wasn’t until Loid had heard pawsteps starting to approach that his ears perked up slightly. Her steps were light, as if she was a ghost. The blonde tom was looking at Anya, his eyes narrowed slightly as he listened carefully to the female behind him. It wasn’t until Sandra had said her name. Yor. His eyebrows furrowed for a moment, trying to remember her name. Ah yes, Yor. She worked within the city on records of the street cats, had only one brother that she raised and practically a clean record. Listening to the conversation between Yor and Sandra, his eyes widened slightly when the molly’s attention went towards him, surprised that she managed to notice him observing her. Loid was lost for words at first, his mouth opened slightly.. However, one thing was for certain..
How did Yor slip under his radar?
Yor |Unexpected Assassin|
Tilting her cranium to the side at the sound of Loid’s smooth and calm voice, it was very pleasant to the ears. Flicking her striped black, white, and crimson red fluffy tail side to side in a sweet bashful manner. “Hello, I hope you two are having a great evening” she politely states as she watches the father and daughter. Her golden eyes softening as she could not help but long to feel the connections one feels toward a husband and child. Yor also knew that such thoughts were a delusional fantasy, her job hardly permitted in her settling down and starting a family. Yet, she hated the curious looks from her co-workers about why she had yet to find a husband, not to mention how worried her brother; Yuri was about her well being.
It was starting to worn on the Molly, keeping up appearances in order to hide her true occupation. If only she had a cover story that was believable enough to fool her brother, a lot of weight would be lifted off of her shoulders. Subconsciously her attention drifts back to Loid, studying him, he seemed kind and cared for his daughter. He was the ideal husband in Yor’s eyes, sighing softly to herself as she was getting lost in her thoughts again. Yor wished she could find a tom that would put her brother at ease, one that wouldn’t ask questions on her whereabouts, but where would she find someone like that? Snapping out of her thoughts as her golden eyes are torn away from Loid to glance down at Anya. A surprised look graced her soft features as the rose golden and black kitten bumps into her.
Relaxing her tense form as she smiles warmly at the clumsy kitten, the cute she-kitten just wanted to show her father how her pelt turned out. So adorable! Lips parting in silent shock as she takes in Anya’s words, her ears flicking back in sadness. Such a poor young thing to lose her mother at such a crucial stage of life. Frowning as she glances over at Loid, her pale eyes misting over as she could only imagine what he has gone through to lose a mate and raise a kit on his own. That took strength and courage. “I am so sorry for your loss! I can only imagine such loss” Yor sighs, in a way she did as her parents had died when she was young, leaving her to care for her brother Yuri. Leading her to becoming the skilled and deadly assassin she is today.
Biting her lower lip as he mentions that his dying mate wanted him to take his daughter somewhere where she could be safe and thrive. Her interest piqued even more as he mentions that he had found the perfect place within the forest. Was he talking about the clans? She had heard plenty about the wild cats of the forest. “Oh? Are you talking about joining a clan? I have heard that usually the mothers care for the young until they reach a certain age” Yor adds with a sad smile. All he wanted for his daughter was her to grow up happy, but how could he accomplish that on his own? Her gaze flickering between the two as an idea begins to form. What if she tagged along! Helped him raise his daughter? It would provide the perfect cover to continue her job and keep her brother satisfied.
“What if…I came with you? Help you with your daughter as you both adjust to the clan life?” Yor suddenly suggestions. Her eyes widening, her cheeks flushing under her white furred cheeks, “I don’t mean to oppose or force myself upon your journey! I just thought it would be nice to have a fresh start as well!” She tries to defend herself, her voice wavering from nerves as she risks a glance at Loid.
Loid Spy
Shit, Loid had been caught. Was the spy becoming sloppy in his moves? How would he do good in his mission if he was slowing down? This definitely wasn’t good at all. Clearing his throat for a moment, the blonde tom closed his eyes for a moment with a bright smile “Ah yes, hello.” Loid greeted the white and red female, tilting his head towards her. Yor was certainly a beauty, that was certain. His best friend and assistant Jean should had been able to pull her up from his line up. Letting out a sigh through his nostrils, the blonde tom was trying to come up with the correct words to say towards her. How could one easily ask a female that he just met to become his mate? To be Anya’s mother so that he could easily get into Skyclan without any problems to spy on Firestar and Aurora? Those two weren’t the good guys, that was certain.
Anya had learned through the mission through something that her handlers called “special forces”. In which Anya could bump into someone and a picture of their thoughts would enter her mind.
Anya looked over at Loid and Yor speak, a twinkle in her eye as an idea had popped into her head. Papa needed a Mama in order for all of them to go to their new home right? It had to be this female! Yor seemed like a sweetheart, so gentle and kind. Squinting her eyes for a moment, she was listening in on the conversation. Something that Anya was very good at was reading lips and pretending to be clumsy. Getting up, a goofy smile appeared on her face as the small rose-gold and black molly began moving towards Yor and Loid “Papa! Look!” Anya said before ‘accidently’ stumbling towards Yor, lettting out a small oof. An image appeared in Anya’s head, Yor’s thoughts about Loid. It appeared that Yor thought that Loid already had a mate! And she needed a cover-up because she’s an assassin! Her Papa is a spy and this female is an assassin?! So cool!
“Oh how will I thrive?!” Anya questioned, shaking her head slightly as she closed her eyes. The small molly appeared sad! “As I have no mama? And my poor Papa is raising me alone?” The small molly whined, opening one eye to see Yor looking at Anya before looking at Loid. It appeared that Anya’s words had peaked her interest. Loid looked less than impreseed with Anya before clearing his throat and looking towards Yor “Ah yes. My mate had passed away when Anya was only two months old. It was her dying wish to ensure that Anya and I had found a safe place to call home, for Anya to grow up happy and healthy.” The blonde tom expressed, smiling softly at Yor. An idea popped into his head, what if he could get the red and white molly to get into his plans? It would be easy to get into Skyclan and he would have someone to help care for Anya.
“I had found a group in the forest that is very safe for her, I wanted to ensure that Anya had a very good future.” Loid began, looking towards Yor with a smile. If he could get the red and white molly to join him, it would be the perfect plan to sneak into Skyclan without any suspicion going on.
Yor |Unexpected Assassin|
Her pale golden eyes flicker around as she observes her surroundings as she moves silently through the alleyways. Knowing the city and the short cuts like the back of her paw. Not wanting to draw attention to herself as often enough it is unwanted attention in these parts of the streets. It was during her break from records that she decided to visit Sandra. She was acquainted with the stylist, enjoying the older feline’s quips while getting her long fur styled to perfection. Yor made sure to visit every week or two weeks, especially with how several of her missions tend to leave her often looking disheveled. Appearances were everything with the city, she did not need her name being filtered around. She had worked out to build the reputation of being a submissive gentle molly. Though in a way she was just that, but has a darker side that she kept hidden even from her younger brother.
Frowning softly at the sudden thought of her brother…Yuri. Even though he was younger than her, he tended to fret over her like an older brother, wanting her to settle down and become a stay at home mother of sorts. How could she tell him that assassins would not make good housewives and mothers? Letting a tiny sigh escape her lips as she needed to figure out a way to get her brother off of her back, especially with her missions often increasing or taking her out of the city for hours at a time. Yor had to give herself credit to accomplish these tasks while keeping up appearances as a simple molly in records. It was her job to know about those entering the city and records gave her easy access. Sticking closer to the shadows, hiding her lithe curved form as a group of rough looking toms come bursting through the alley, rolling her eyes at their rambunctious voices and their tactless at trying to appear tough to those around them. Easily slipping past them, shaking her cranium before resuming to her destination.
It did not take the white molly with crimson red markings along her face and tail long to enter the nicely lit alley that belonged to Sandra. Her angelic soft features often drew felines in, especially with her honeyed voice that many believed could do no wrong. She knew that several of her female coworkers believed her to be stupidly naive and she was when it comes to normal feline activities. Petite paws lightly pressing against the stone floor, not wanting to disturb Sandra as she attempts to groom a cute she-kit. Yor’s golden eyes soften as she smiles lightly at the kit as she boasts about how she will look. She could see the back of a tall blonde tom, noticing his tensed form. ‘Must be the father. Poor lad must not be use to taking his daughter to get her fur fixed up’ Yor thought before her attention drifts to Sandra. Giving the older molly a sheepish smile, “Sorry for arriving early! I overestimated the lack of traffic here” she apologized with a small pout. Crimson ears flicking as the older one brushes off her worrying, saying that she was more than welcome to stay put until she was finished with Arya.
Pursing her lips slightly as she could sense the father observing her silently. Feeling her skin tingle at his gaze never leaving her form. Normally she would pretend not to notice, but for some reason felt compelled to glance over at Loid. Her golden eyes locking with his blue ones for a brief moment. Taking in his handsome features, noting that he seemed shocked that she had caught him. Giving him a simple smile before her attention drifts back to Sandra and Anya, ignoring the heat forming on her cheeks at making eye contact with an handsome tom. “Your fur looks lovely” Yor compliments Anya with a gentle grin.
