At long last, the ideal opportunity to tail Creekroar had presented itself to Nightstorm. He’d said nothing to any cat, not wishing to raise the alarm until he knew more, but he could not deny the rush at finally feeling as though he’d have some answers to Creekroar’s questionable recent behavior.
Nightstorm had always been wretched at tracking, and he performed no better as he stalked his Clanmate through the first-encrusted pines. His footfalls were deafeningly loud, at least to him. He snagged underbrush with his long silvery fur and snapped twigs every other step. But if Creekroar heard any of it, he wasn’t acknowledging it.
Distracted? Thoughts of treason on your mind? Nighstorm thought bitterly, as he pressed onward.
Finally Creekroar came to a stop, nearest the RiverClan border. So that’s who he’s reporting to.
Nightstorm had always thought that Copperstar was an honest and straightforward tom, but maybe pregnancy had addled his already water-logged brain, if he was playing at using spies. Shifting uncomfortably on his numbing feet, Nighstorm waited until the moon was directly overhead before anything of note happened. Across the way, ginger-and-white she-cat emerged from the bushes and practically ran towards them, greeted in turn by Creekroar in a most intimate manner. The two entwined like snakes, their pelts mingling, frosted breaths clouding the air like fog.
Holy mother of….
So it wasn’t treason after all. At least, not the traditionally intentional kind.
“Alright, alright I’ve seen enough.” His voice thundered, as he finally chose to make himself known. “Creekroar, get your sorry hide back to camp before I rip it off your back. The bodies of those who died at the battle of the pointed stones are hardly even cold in their graves yet, and you’re prancing about with a RiverClan trollop? I thought you had more sense, boy.”

It had been a rather long day, with the recent events and the rather... questionable retraining they had before the battle with thunderclan over a bunch of half breeds. It made her rather upset over something so silly. It made her frustrated and a total waste of resources when there were bigger issues going on. It left her rather restless and more or less unable to fall asleep in a more reasonable timeframe. When that didn't happen she decided to go out for a little walk to help wear her out to maybe have an easier time.
So there she was going out and about in the shadowclan territory going no where to really go exactly. Muttering under her breath as she continued out her venture out when all of a sudden she heard some commotion by the border not to far out. Scowling slightly she turned course, curious to what exactly was going on. Who would be out causing such ruckus at that hour.
What she saw before her caused Crimsonsky to hiss out in anger, tail lashing as she watched the pair, "Have you lost your mind? Didn't we just have some battle over a bunch of halfbreeds? Why go out and cause even more problems for the clan?" She hissed out tail whipping from side to side in complete anger, her gaze rather cold.
"Last thing we need is another pair causing the same issues." She growled letting her gaze shift from one pair to the other not even caring that the other warrior was ther.

Her heart fluttered restlessly in her chest as she waited for Creekroar to rendezvous with her. There was always a part of her that was filled with apprehension when she awaited his arrival, for they knew that there were rules and boundaries they were breaking just by being together, but tonight was different. During their last meeting, Flashstep had told him that she was expecting his kits and that news changed things. It was time for them to decide if they were going to proceed to be together or if they were going to break up and pretend that their lives were never impacted by one another. Of course, their feelings for one another were true and it became evident very quickly that they couldn't live without each other. Tonight, she believed that she would tell Creekroar that she intended to move to ShadowClan to be with him. Tonight, they would begin their new lives together.
That was what she thought. How naïve of her.
When her love appeared from the shadows and came to her, she felt her anxieties lessen by his presence. However, as soothed as her soul was by the sight of him, the news he had to share made a frown furrow her lovely features. She parted her jaws to reply, to speak of the facts before them and what they had to face moving forward, but she never had the chance. Nightstorm appeared almost immediately before them, his hostility apparent as he confronted the pair.
Flashstep froze, her body growing tense at the inevitable skirmish. Creekroar stepped in front of her, no hesitation in him as he readied himself to protect his mate and the new life growing inside of her. As the two of them snapped at one another and as Creekroar fought to defend her and their right to be together, she added in, "We had no intentions of hiding. We're prepared to face the consequences of what we've done. Just let us speak to Juncostar ourselves."
Creekroar
Creekroar knew when he met Flashstep that every part of their relationship was going to be rocky, cross clan relationships, no matter how common they are nowadays are still heavily frowned upon. They were too far to turn back now Flashstep was carrying their future and he’d do anything to protect her now.
Just as they planned there she was resting at the border of Riverclan, all his worries faded away the moment he could see her. Flashstep offered the tom cat a calming sensation he’d never experienced before her. Moving closer to the orange and white molly, Creekroar pressed his muzzle against hers before nuzzling her rounded belly. “Sorry I’m late, beautiful. There was..Thunderclan attacked us over half bred kits who had a Thudnerclan father.” His tail grazed her ever growing stomach. He knew it was something they’d have to talk about eventually he just didn’t want to face the facts so soon.
Stepping protectively in front of Flashcreek, his eyes narrowing onto the Shadowclanner. “This is none of your concern, Nightstorm.” Creekroar didn't want to fight his clan mates, especially after what happened with Thunderclan, but he wouldn't let anyone harm his future. Glancing back towards his wonderful mate, he offered her a reassuring smile, “I won't let anyone hurt you.” He knew Flashstep could hold her own, there were many times when they would fight and she could kick his tail, this time it was different she was with child, fighting would put their kits in harm's way.
Snapping his gaze back towards the Shadowclan warrior, fur bristling “Don't call her a trollop!” His words falling out in a hiss. “She’s the most wonderful she cat with a beautiful mind.” Flashstep to him was more than just a pretty face, she was sincere, honest, smart and powerful. Creekroar was prepared to sacrifice himself for Flashstep, but he prayed it wouldn’t come to that, hoping that Nightstorm would see how serious he was about the molly and change his mind.
“Please Nightstorm. I’ll turn myself into Juncostar later just leave Flashstep out of this.”
