Ravenstar
Shadowclan Leader
The massive black tom was silently making his way through the pine forest, his golden eyes remained narrowed as he heard owls in the night sky. The Shadowclan leader didn’t get much sleep these days, he wanted to have a moment to himself without anyone barging into his den at any second to disturb the peace. Letting out a small grunt, Ravenstar shook his head slightly before moving more further into the territory.
Ravenstar enjoyed the night more than the day.. In all honesty, if he wasn’t the leader of Shadowclan.. The black tom would had probably been more active during the night times, it was more peaceful anyways. A sudden sound of crunching caused Ravenstar to arch an eyebrow before grunting to himself and padding towards the direction on the noise.. What on earth was happening near the Riverclan border?
It wasn’t until Ravenstar made his way towards the borderline of Shadowclan and Riverclan, and stopped and watched. A calico molly was sitting in Riverclan territory, chewing on rocks. He couldn’t help but roll his eyes ar the sight. It appeared that a rouge that was dropped on her head as a kit was wandering Riverclan territory and was… exploring. Little did Ravenstar know, that was actually the Riverclan deputy.. Spottedkoi. The Shadowclan leader never attended any gatherings, expect when he was first named an apprentice, he didn’t care much for them.
It appeared that Riverclan’s problem that they were experiencing rouges invading their territory and.. eating their rocks. It seemed like it was Copperstar and their deputy’s problem, Ravenstar was just baffled at the sight in front of him. How could Riverclan be so foolish to let rogues into their territory so easily? Narrowing his eyes, Ravenstar began to turn around and make his way back to camp.. However, the chewing stopped which caused Ravenstar to turn and suddenly he was looking at Spottedkoi, who looked like her thoughts were empty.
“What?” Ravenstar grunted.
Ravenstar
Shadowclan Leader
Lilyfall’s father was the former deputy of Riverclan, Stormhowl. Her father had left Riverclan to be with Wildflower and their kits, but he had died of sickness . Lilyfall hadn’t gotten to know much of her Riverclan heritage growing up, but Ravenstar had wanted to find something to remind the silver tabby of her father. Perhaps it was losing Mercuryrose that had caused Ravenstar to become more sentient about his parents and those around him, as Ravenstar had learned to keep those he loved the most treasured in life.
Watching Spottedkoi bring the shell to him, the huge black tom lowered his head to sniff it for a moment. It was perfect. Rubbing his cheek against the shell, the Shadowclan leader’s ears perked up and rose to full height once more. A grunt escaped him “I appreciate it.” Ravenstar said quietly before the calico molly’s words had surprised him, she was the Riverclan deputy.
Preciously, Ravenstar had never been interested in the politics of the clans.. But knew about it because of Mercuryrose. The black tom never really paid attention to leadership, deputies and other medicine cats.. But he had to learn names, and who would make a reliable ally. “Spottedkoi.” Ravenstar repeated her name, closing his eyes for a moment. The calico deputy looked almost young as him, Ravenstar knew she must had been slightly nervous taking this important role as he had been. “Pleased to meet you, my name is Ravenstar.” He said, opening his eyes and nodding towards her
It was quiet for a moment before his golden gaze remained on the ground “I became leader because.. My mom died.” Ravenstar said quietly, as he let out a soft sigh through his nostrils. He would never admit it to anyone, but he missed Mercuryrose.. He knew that Mintstrike, Widowsting and the kits missed her, but he kept his feelings to himself in order to make sure his clan and family didn’t fall apart.
Spottedkoi
Riverclans Airhead Heiress
Her nose scrunching at his words, Kittypet, how dare he insult her with his mindless words. Granted the last gathering the clans had, Spottedkoi had not been named deputy so she couldn't fully fault him for not knowing her.
Her wide eyes blinked soulessly at the tom cat for a few heartbeats, finding it hard to correct him. He didn't come off as aggressive but Spottedleaf could sense a different air about the tom and did not wish to aggravate him by snapping at his comment.
It wasn't until the tom spoke up that her trance ended, her ears flicker at his words, her long whisker twitching in excitement she loved helping the warriors of Riverclan pick out shells to court their potential mates or bring home to their kittens perhaps he was here to do the same. With a quick flick of her tail the small molly hopped over towards the stream entering in with no hesitation. Spottedkois' gaze was pulled by a shell sitting at the stream floor, a perfect shaped shell with colors that mimicked a sunburst. The riverclanner ducked her head under the shallow water, reemerging with the shell in tow.
Skipping back over to Ravenstar, Spottedkoi set the shell down gently in front of her paws, nudging it over the border to him. “I hope this will suit your needs.” Blinking slowly at the darker cat, Spottedkoi felt pride in being of use to another clan. She needed to build relations with them now before she took over leadership of Riverclan.
Swallowing hard she found her courage to correct the toms prior statement, “I'm no kittypet. My name is Spottedkoi. I am Riverclans deputy.”
Ravenstar
Shadowclan Leader
The Shadowclan’s leader expression remained blank as it was watching the Riverclan deputy with her rocks. It was nearly impossible to tell whatever was on the black tom’s mind, which was a huge benefit for him. Arching an eyebrow, the huge tom watched as the calico came towards Ravenstar and dropped the rock in front of him, his golden eyes remained narrowed at this action. The Shadowclan leader wasn’t quite sure in how to react to the situation in front of him, wondering if it was a trap or an usual act of kindness.
“No.” Ravenstar said bluntly, shaking his head. The young tom wasn’t overly fond of strangers, as he usually spoke in a word or two in response towards them.. It was only others that he knew well in which Ravenstar would speak in full sentences. Letting out a small huff, the tuxedo-Maine Coon mix had suddenly got up and observed the Riverclan deputy in front of him. “Kittypet?” The Shadowclan leader questioned, narrowing his eyes.
Taking a couple of steps back, the Shadowclan leader watched the stream nearby the Riverclan deputy. Ravenstar had spotted a couple of shells nearby, in which a small sigh escaped his nose. His feathery tail flicked back and forth. “Shell, please.” The black tom grunted, his eyes remained at the stream. Looking at the Riverclan deputy and nodded towards the direction. Lilyfall had been wanting a shell for a moment, and he hadn’t been able to find any on Shadowclan territory.. He wanted to at least treat his sweetheart to something that would be sentimental.
“Thank you”

Riverclan territory was even more beautiful at night, the way the moonlight bounced off the many streams and ponds throughout the territory offered soft light to guide your paws. The small calico deputy knew some of Riverclan questioned her abilities; she tried to make up for her weak points by at least monitoring the territory during nightfall. Spottedkoi found herself treading carefully along the stream edge, her paws only briefly grazing the cool waters.
Spottedkoi might not always be present in the moment but even she could pick up on the uneasiness of the wind, it was hard to settle the queasy feeling building up. The deputy couldnt quite place where this uneasy feeling was coming but it was hard to ignore.
She wished Venomrose was by her side to help calm her nerves but the medicine cat needed the sleep after watching their children all day. Her amber gaze scanning for anything she could turn to for comfort.
Perfect~
There sitting a few lengths away from Shadowclan border a perfectly smoothed rock. The molly bounded over to the stone, her claws grasping it in place as she used one side of her chompers to bite down on the rock. Her, somehow perfect, teeth slowly grinding on its surface, a mineral taste accompanying it. The sound of the grinding somehow comforting the overwhelmed feline.
A shiver washed down the deputies spine, the rustling behind her still somehow reaching her ears over the grinding sound. Whipping around, Spottedkois vision was now infected with a large black figure, her wide gaze blank as she tried to make out what the figure was debating on if she should run away or not.
Prior to her instincts taking over to run away the figure was briefly engulfed by the soft moonlight revealing it was a cat unfamiliar to her. Instead she, with rock in tow, moved closer to Ravenstar making sure not to cross the border. Her strange gaze studying the Shadowclanner, placing his home simply by his scent. Spottedkoi dropped the stone in front of her, pushing it slightly in the tom cats direction.
“Wanna bite?” Her words quiet and soft.
