LIGHTPAW.
apprentice of windclan
Finally, he’d ditched his sister, and Eveningstorm, and Hailgaze, allowing him to sleep through the moors like a ghost. His pale pelt blended right in with the withering grass and light dusting of snow, pawprints erased by the blowing wind as he moved along. It was a trek out to the edge of WindClan’s territory, but one Lightpaw had long learned was worth it. It was worth the tongue lashings he received when he got back to camp, it was worth being out of WindClan’s social loop, it was definitely worth the slack in his training that would likely have his warrior ceremony delayed. After all, he’d never been very interested in all that Clan bullshit. Now he had friends where he could be his true self.
Slinking into a bush just on the other side of WindClan’s border with the mountains, he came into a clearing where three other cats sat. Trevor merely gave him a nod in greeting, a shit-eating grin slipping onto his face as Ethan and Jenna also acknowledged his arrival. “So what shit are we stirring today, you idiots?” He eloquently greeted, practically vibrating with excitement. He’d taken them hunting deep into WindClan territory before, so the fun had been sucked out of that. And he was rather tired of beating up other gangs.
The silver tabby tensed as he noticed Trevor’s eyes narrowing in consideration, the short-furred brown tabby commenting on how eager Lightpaw was to cause mischief. “Yeah, well, my stupid sister got in the way of you seeing me last time. And Hailgaze has been on my case- controlling Clan high ranks.”
"Why are you still even part of these clans, anyways, darling?" Jenna inquired, having just finished meticulously grooming her beautiful dappled black, white, and ginger coat as Lightpaw arrived.
"Are you not sick and tired yet of being told where to go and what to do? Surely it must be simply exhausting, all those rules and regulations- why not ditch them and come live with us. You know I'm dying to just have you here permanently, you're the only one with some actual intellect around here."
She could feel the others glare at her, but she couldn't care less what they thought of her, she'd heard it all. From prissy, to snobby, to anything and everything in between.
"At the current moment we haven't any plans, the others couldn't decide what they wanted to do, I swear they've not a single thought between their ears."
