BUNNYSKIP
Thunderclan Warrior
No matter how many times Bunnyskip ended up here, she always felt as if Starclan themselves were winding and twinkling around her paws. Wind buffeted her fur and the young warrior shivered. Part of her knew very few cats would miss her being out of camp so late, and yet something still felt so risky about slipping out at night to be with Pagan. The gentle rush of the water drew her attention as she waited, sitting among the shelter of the abandoned fox den.
Over time, it had become overgrown and mossy, with flowers growing in and around it. Little patches of lichen that almost seemed to glow littered the entrance and inside like stars, and pawsteps pressed into the starlight moss on the ground detailed her previous nights spent here with Pagan. The dilute calico molly couldn't help but smile, electricity fizzing around her whiskers as she noticed lightning bugs beginning to emerge, hanging over the river creating a beautiful map of light upon the surface.
Her eyes shimmered in the twinkling light, a dreamy sigh escaped her lips, and her tail curled over her paws. As an apprentice she had found it hard to come here at times, her heart had been trying to hold her back, but since becoming a warrior she had felt more capable than she ever had. Of course, she was still no normal warrior, but Bunnyskip was finally beginning to feel that she could do more.
Pagan truly brought out the best in her. That much she knew.
Bunnyskip wished they could be together forever. Finally hearing the grasses start to rustle, the little she-cat's head lifted and her ears perked up with exhileration. Her smile widened, and she stood preparing to greet her non-clan crush. She had such exciting news to tell him tonight. She was finally a warrior! Bunnyskip knew that non-clan cats sometimes struggled to understand the significance, but she knew Pagan would understand.
"Pagan!" She greeted enthusiastically.
BUNNYSKIP
Thunderclan Warrior
Bunnyskip's face lit up at his praise, and her cheeks flushed as a purr overtook her. Her entire body vibrated with the intensity of it, and she couldn't be happier. Her heart felt so full as she gazed up at him, the molly, whilst still small, had grown into a fine young she-cat. Her body had lengthened, but she still regained her chubby physique, her curly fur only accentuating her more stocky build, more typically seen on kittypets instead of clan cats, but there was no doubt her heart was wild.
As their muzzles pressed together, Bunnyskip twitched her whiskers, pressing her nose into the fluffy fur of his cheek, rubbing her head down the side of his face as she felt his purr vibrating against her.
"I wish you could have been there too..." The pretty she-cat mews, winding herself around him. She wished she didn't have to worry about being ostracised from her clanmates as a result of her finding love outside of her clan. Her ears pin back with sorrow as he expresses his sorrow about being born outside of the clan.
"It would be easier, but...that means we wouldn't have had so much fun sneaking out together, and...and...we probably wouldn't have ever found this place..." Bunnyskip smiles at him warmly, "...Besides, you... could always join me in Thunderclan...?"
Pagan
Lonesome Nomad
Pagan didn’t exactly understand the excitement behind simply earning a different name, however he knew it meant everything to his girl and he would happily share in her excitement. “I’m so proud of you, my sweet bunny.” He had no idea how such a small creature could overtake his entire world, all he could think about was Bunnyskip day and night. Pagan used to feel an overwhelming urge to protect the molly but now all he wanted to do was stand by her side as her equal.
The large silver tom cat leaned down, his own darken muzzle pressing firmly against her calico muzzle. A loud purr rumbling from deep within him, “I wish I could have been there to see it Bunnyskip. The clans don’t exactly take too kindly to loners like myself prowling into their camp.” Pagan knew this relationship of theirs would constantly be put to the test, the two trying to live their separate lives, lying to their friends and family. His heart stung at her struggle of being able to see him. For Pagan it was easy, if they were discovered Pagan wouldn't have to face the whispers and torments of clanmates like Bunnyskip would. His worlds were torn he could choose to follow Bunnyskip home and lead the life of a warrior, but he loved the life he lived being able to come and go as he pleased never having to answer to a higher power. Staring down at the calico molly Pagan was almost prepared to give it all up for her, he truly loved her.
“I’m sorry. It would be easier if I wasn’t born a loner.”
BUNNYSKIP
Thunderclan Warrior
He was her everything.
Bunnyskip melted into Pagan with zero hesitation, her heart thumped in her chest as a purr rumbled from her throat, threatening to deafen him with its volume. Her sweet scent mingled with his as she brushed against him, pressing her side down the entire length of his body, her tail curling beneath his chin, before she brushed back to replace the ghosting touch of her fluffy tail with the top of her head.
"Hi," She began, her voice practically tumbling from her lips, "I missed you so much." One of her paws rests on his, and her tail rests against his flank. Drinking in his scent like she would never do so again, Bunnyskip looked up at him with such warmth in her gaze that she could compete with the sun itself.
"I have exciting news...I became a warrior just a few sunrises ago... My name is Bunnyskip now." The pride in her voice was only overpowered by her affection for the big tom as she pressed her face into his chest. It felt unreal, being able to finally tell him she was officially a warrior in the eyes of Thunderclan. Giving him an affectionate nudge, her eyes twinkled with the bright light of lightning bugs that replaced the stars for tonight.
"No more Bunnypaw... but I'll always be your little Bunny..." Her pelt grew hot, she adored his nickname for her more than words could even describe. Unlike how it sounded, instead of making her feel small and insignificant, it made her feel loved and empowered. It was the perfect name, to her. "It's been so hard to wait until now to see you... I just couldn't slip away no matter how hard I tried." The thought that her clanmates could ever stop them from being together was outrageous.
Pagan
It had been many moons since Pagan first dared to venture from the comfort of his territory to Thunderclans territory, to the place he first met Her. Bunnyskip always put so much on the line for him, risking everything just to see him, he wished Thunderclan could see how brave their sweet little Bunny was. Bunny often told the tom cat tales of her time in Thunderclan, how sheltered her mother tried to keep her, the thought of how her mother would react to seeing her with someone like him always amused the tom cat.
He wished they could openly meet but he understood that for them to be in each other's lives their meetings always needed to be under the cover of night. Not even the stars allowed to be witness to their time together, entering a world all their own. He was surprisingly still okay with it though, it meant he got Bunnys attention all to himself, and he could in return give her all of him.
Closer to their special location, Bunnies scent completely surrounded Pagan, he felt his body temperature begin to rise, his ear tips practically burning. Even after meeting Bunny many times, his heart raced fast anytime she was around, every time like the first time he fell more and more in love with her. Peering inside the abandoned fox den, the breath knocked from the tom cat as the small dilute greeted him with the largest grin. If only she knew what that smile did to him. Taking a moment to calm himself, Pagan brushed his muzzle against her cheek,
“Hello Little Bunny. I’ve missed you.”
