dovebriar
riverclan warrior
the snow growing ever-stronger, dovebriar was growing more concerned with each passing moment. sitting in the clearing, her ears pinned back against her head, the she-cat hissed as a cold breeze rustled her pelt, making her fluff it up against the chill. hearing pawsteps heading toward her, the she-cat flicked her ears and looked over to nettlebreeze when he approached. flicking her tail, somewhat indignantly, she padded toward the lacking fresh-kill pile and picked up a fish. it wasn't more than a couple morsels- with the snow, fishing was more than a little difficult at times.
turning back toward him, her pelt felt a little hot as she realised she had no idea if she was doing the right thing, and if she would be rejected if she asked him to share. maybe he would want his own? maybe he wouldn't want to share with her? her lips curling as she growled, she padded back over to where she had been sat, and crouched down, biting into the fish and casting the occasional glance at the warrior.
if he wanted to, he could come over and ask...but it was clear the she-cat was too awkward to actually ask.

dovebriar made no effort to move away from him, and lay her tail across his back as if she were reciprocating the gesture whilst also trying not to make it weird. she nodded along to his words as she lay her head on her paws, looking up at him with a twitch of her tufted ears.
"that's a good reason... i also think it's nice to see the kits finally get to run around the camp properly, without the snow to keep them stuck in the nursery." a purr rumbled in the white she-cat's throat as she glanced over toward the nursery. she wondered if the other clans had the same feelings about the seasons- it was always hard to think that they were truly were rather similar to each other.
"when it's newleaf at long last, i can't wait to get to go out hunting with you again and not worry about freezing our paws off, and worrying about the rivers being frozen over." she lent up, touching her nose to his cheek with a bashful smile.
