For one he didn’t understand why humans would bother to lock away cats. What possible reason could they even give for locking away his mate within their house? Green and yellow marbled eyes narrowed with annoyance as he and Firestar walked step for step as he glanced towards the equally large tomcat. “I’m telling you, it’s not natural for anything to be locked away in those houses.” Grumbling as his massive paws were crunching the dried leaves on the ground. “Ana made plans about leaving these humans and joining the Clan, she is the female I mentioned to you a moon ago.” He hummed, but of course Ana just had to stay a little longer to say her good-byes to friends. He rolled his eyes just thinking about it, pressing his lips together as he looked towards Granitemask. “Will this be enough to get her out of the house?” He asked the leader, feeling conflicted.
Ears perked as they reached the white picket fence that marked the beginning of the subdivision, eyes narrowing for a moment before he looked towards the other two cats as his whiskers trembled. “The humans usually don’t bother us but look out for the cars, uh monsters.” He corrected himself, waving his feathery tail for the other felines to follow him. Walking along the side of the fence before he found the sidewalk but staying in the grass as he led his leader and clanmate further into the world of humans. “Her house is the dark green one there.” Using his snout to gesture in the direction, “Look both ways before crossing the path, keep an eye out for monsters.” He meowed a warning, running across the road as he looked this way and that. Waiting patiently as he gazed up at the fence.
Without saying anything, he jumped up on the fence before jumping down in the grass. Heart uneasy as he gazed at the house before turning to Firestar. “Ideas?”
Granitemask
Skyclan Warrior
This was certainly unexpected.
His dark blue gaze was watching Firestar and Wildbear carefully, eyebrows furrowed as he was listening to the two toms in front of him. What started as a day with Rootrose, quickly changed to a rescue mission. Wildbear had charged into camp, looking frantically and almost desperate for Firestar and Auroraskies. After the three cats had a hushed conversation in the leader’s den, Firestar and Wildbear had left the den. The silver tabby had been shocked when the ginger Maine Coon had approached him, ordering for Granitemask to follow him.
It wasn’t a secret that Auroraskies had been Granitemask’s mentor when he was growing up. Stars, Granitemask was most likely going to be Auroraskies only apprentice until her and Firestar had decided to stop producing kits… Which Granitemask was sure when that wouldn’t happen anytime soon. One of two things may have happened; Auroraskies had told Firestar to take Granitemask without the two bickering.. Or Auroraskies had wanted to go on the mission, but Firestar and most likely Wildbear as well had refused as Auroraskies had recently given birth a week ago to a new litter, which caused Auroraskies to grumble and told them to take Granitemask instead. The silver tabby had become a quick learner, which caused him to succeed in training and his fighting and hunting style had come close to his former mentor who had grown up as a Viper.
It hadn’t been a secret that Wildbear had become mates with a female out of the clan, he would reek of Kittypet scent when he arrived back at camp from seeing her. Although he wasn’t surprised that Wildbear’s mate had become pregnant and was now trapped inside the house. The only problem was that they needed to figure out a way to get the twolegs to open the door and find a way to get Ana out. The silver tabby tom was silent, mostly observing the entire time. Granitemask was known to be one of the more silent males, only speaking to those he loves. After crossing the street carefully and leaping gracefully over the fence, he watched the two toms quietly discussing what needed to be done. Granitemask’s blue eyes were narrowed when listening to them, those two had such alpha male energies. Clearing his throat which caused the two to turn towards him, the tom let out a snort
“We need to cause some kind of distraction to cause the twolegs to open those doors.” Granitemask explained, and looked towards Firestar and Wildbear “Then one of us can slip into their den, get your female and get out before the door closes.” He finished, before looking back at the door and bit the inside of his cheek “We have multiple problems, what if the door shuts early with one of us trapped inside? What if there’s dogs?” Granitemask explained before looking at Firestar “Your call.”
