Clearly there was so much the young molly had missed during her time away from skyclan, having finished her little meeting with Firestar and talking to him about what had happened and learning the disappearance of her mentor and parents to finding out her close friend was expecting kits it left her more emotional then what she was expecting. Deciding she was going to push it to the side and deal with it at a later time she had promised Dante she'd find him afterwards. Quickly making a beeline towards the nursery wanting to see it for herself. Sad to have missed out the gossip and knowing who the lucky fella would be the molly was just happy to know her friend was happy and safe.
Not realizing what tension she could cause with just randomly showing up she burst into the nursery. Then it hit her, if she was expecting then it meant she had well become a warrior at that point, which also then meant her siblings should have also gotten their names too as the two litters were born very close to one another. Slowing down she blinked for a moment or so and just took a seat letting her green hues shift about the den before landing on the feline. "C-cosmo! Congratulations, Firestar just told me you're expecting!" She softly said a weak smile crossing her face.
Letting her gaze scan the molly's face she just let everything really soak in for once. She had been gone for so long, it had felt like it was for an entire lifetime, did they look for her when she had been captured? Would things ever feel right too her again now that she was back. Ears drooping slightly she let her gaze fell to the ground. "I'm so sorry for missing so much..." She mumbled softly. To say she was neverous to hear the felines reaction all she could do was brace for the worst. She simply hadn't meant to disappear, and the fact it had taken her this long to find her way back was completely different story.

At the sight of her old friend, the pair of mates were on their paws in an instant and at her side- the smaller of the two nearly lapsing himself into an episode crying in emotions at the sight of his sister. Cosmosong gently caressed his side, offering her love quiet reassurance and support. She couldn't blame him in the slightest- SkyClan never really knew what happened to Laurelpaw, just that she had disappeared and that her scent had vanished. After they searched and searched and moons passed without a sight of her... They assumed the worst. Needless to say, they were relieved when she returned alive.
She listened quietly to Laurelpaw's story with a soft frown on her face at the traumas the poor molly had to endure. "I'm glad that you're alive," she responded delicately, her expression turning upright in a gentle smile. She didn't feel like she needed to say anything else. With their reaction, she was sure that her friend could gauge that they deeply missed her and worried for her wellbeing. Cosmosong did not want to linger on her experience and risk surfacing bad memories, for her sake. Nor did she want to touch on the changes in SkyClan since she had left- she was sure that Laurelpaw would struggle with that enough on her own, she didn't need reminders that life had continued in her absence.
"Oh, yes," The tortoiseshell queen laughed lightly, glad to change the subject onto something more positive and light. "Cherryblossom said that they're due in New-Leaf, just a few moons from now. I'm sure they'll love to have their aunt around."
Seeing her brother alongside Cosmosong caused her to pause for a moment, tears instantly welling up in the corner of her eyes as she stood there. Feeling the weight of the frail feline fall on top of her she sniffled a little as she buried her face in the toms side. Not expecting to run into one of her siblings so quickly was certainly the tipping point for the molly. Laurelpaw had tried her best to keep her emotions in check until she was alone for awhile to just really go over things. But here she was starting to cry in the shoulder of her sibling.
Her heart ached as guilt and sadness nipped the pits of her stomach, wrapping her bushy tail around the tom as she tried her best to dry her own tears before she even attempted to help compose the weeping feline. After a moment or so she drew a paw over her eyes as she released a breath she wasn't aware she even held. "Crane it's okay... take a deep breath... try to calm down okay? You'll get yourself sick." She softly said as she stroke her tail down the toms back her green hues closing for a moment.
Hearing the fact that they had indeed looked for her all those moons ago made her feel somewhat better. Why she had thought they wouldn't would be beyond her. Softly sighing she rest her head on her brothers shoulder as she recalled what had happened. "I was out trying to collect some herb ceruleansky wanted me to go get... I honestly really didn't want too, it was something about just that time that felt almost wrong. I tried to tell her that but she just chalked it up to me just me trying to get out of my duties... Which I understand why but thats besides the point..." She had started to recall it situation.
Heart starting to race against her chest the molly tried not to let her emotions waiver, pawing the ground slightly, "I went just like she said out by the border where the river kind of breaks off I guess... I hadn't realized some twolegs were there until they started chasing me.. I tried to run and hide but because of my stupid paw I...I tripped and fell and they scooped me up.. I tried getting out of their grip but they like squeezed me harder and I couldn't get out..." her voice had started to crack up a bit as she finished with what had happened a few loose tears rolling down her cheeks as her ears flattened against her skull sadly.
"I..I didn't think I was ever going to get out of there... they kept me locked up for so long... I tried so many times... but I just got shoved back in that stupid box.... The only time they were dumb enough to not make sure it was closed tight I was able to get out a..and I was able to slip out when they returned and just barely got away.... I walked for so long I never thought I'd get out of the two leg place... Then I met Dante for whatever reason he was looking for me, guess there was chatter or something dumb like that but he's honestly the reason why I made home... It all just looked the same..." She finally finished a soft sigh escaping from her as she really concentrated on keeping it together.
Laurelpaw was just happy to finally be home, clearing her throat she peaked over towards the expecting queen. "You know I'm not surprised you two ended up together. Match made in starclan I suppose.. You guys had always had a tight connection anytime you two chatted in the Medicine cat den. Do you know when your kits are due?" She asked softly a weak smile crossing her face.
Cranewhisper hummed softly as he gently groomed his mate's pelt. He knew how important it was for an expectant queen to be comfortable and relaxed, and he was making sure she stayed that way for her sake, and for the kits. It was the least he could do. After all, Cosmosong was giving him the best gift any tom could ever receive after experiencing the hardest moons of his life. Cosmosong was already the greatest thing that ever happened to him, and now even more great things were coming. He still couldn't believe that it was real sometimes, but here they were, laying in the nursery together, discussing possible names for the little furballs. Sure, they didn't know what they looked like yet, but what harm was there in imagining?
"So my love, what do you think of the name Salama-" Before he could finish his thought, a noise outside caused his head to snap up in the direction of the den's entrance. Someone was coming, and they were coming fast. Nobody ever approached the nursery that quickly. Not anyone with good intentions, anyway. Cranewhisper was on his paws the instant a face appeared from the brambles, and he stepped protectively over his mate. The small tom knew he was a weak fighter and would be easily defeated, but he'd buy Cosmosong enough time to get away from this intruder. Her life alone was precious enough for him to lay down his own, but he had even more lives to protect now. He didn't know just how many yet, but he did know that he'd fight a hundred bears for them if he had to.
"Who-" He started, only for his mouth to quickly snap shut, then fall open once again when the intruder spoke and he finally got a good look at them. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. "L...Laurel?" He whispered, blue eyes instantly turning misty. He never thought he'd see his sister again. It had been so long, everyone assumed... "Laurel!" he cried, sobs wracking the young tom's body as he practically pounced on the she-cat to bury his face in her fur. "You're alive! We sp-spent so much t-time looking a-and there wasn't a tr-trace, we-we thought-" The poor tom couldn't bear to continue the sentence and fell silent, sniffling and hiccuping into his sister's shoulder as he tried to rein in his emotions. He didn't want to send himself into an episode at a time like this.

Cosmosong had been resting in the nursery with her mate, Cranewhisper. They had just recently found out that they would be expecting kits and she was as overjoyed as her mate was. The tortie molly had always wanted kits of her own and she had known since she was an apprenticed that she loved Cranewhisper. It was almost like they were meant to be, how naturally they fit together. She couldn't imagine anyone else she would want to spend her life with, to make a family with. A small purr rumbled in her throat as he stayed with her, spending the spare time of his afternoon together.
Suddenly, an old face burst through the bramble of the nursery, a familiar voice she hadn't heard in moons reaching her ears. Cosmosong turned abruptly, facing Laurelpaw, who had disappeared moons ago. "Laurelpaw...?" She stood, stunned at the face of her old friend. "Laurelpaw, you're alive! Where have you been? Are you okay?"
