In Clearing
Firestar |Couregous Lion of Skyclan| All Firestar could hear were screams when he closed his eyes. His dreams plagued with darkness and whispers, yet he could never make out what the whispers or screams were saying. All he could sense from the nightmare was pain and dread, just the thought made his head throb in pain of trying to decipher what it could mean. Firestar knew that it was not a normal dream, it was a clouded vision that not just him was hearing when he closed his eyes. His daughter, Roseglow had received the nightmares as well. Now, the whispers and screams envelopes the clan, infecting his clanmates with unease.  With being a leader held responsibility and right now as he stands upon the large branch within the sky tree, watching his clan shift at the eerie atmosphere, he knew he needed to do something. Clearing his throat before commanding attention, “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Sky Tree for a clan meeting!” His voice echos, drawing everyone to him. Pausing for several moments as he gives his clan a chance to gather.  Sighing tiredly to himself before projecting his voice, “As everyone should know there is an unknown presence surrounding Skyclan. The whispers have become more frequent and with some investigation, I have concluded that the whispers are leading away from camp. I am going to send a group of warriors with Roseglow to investigate beyond our borders to figure out what these whispers want…” he reveals. His bicolored eyes sweeping over his clanmates as they take in his words.  “I need three or four warriors to volunteer to go with Roseglow to investigate on why these…apparations are calling out to us and only us” Firestar concludes, wondering who would decide to venture into the unknown with Roseglow.   Bearchaser |Strong-Willed Soldier of Skyclan| Bearchaser could see and sense the unease around him, the constant uncanny whispers of muddled voices fill the dense air. His dark ember brown tufted ears flick backwards in edginess as he takes in his father’s words. The newly made warrior glances around him, taking notice that his fellow clanmates were on edge as a never ending fog seemed to want to trap them within. Unless they could figure out what the voices and the nightmares wanted—they were confined until they got to the bottom of this mystery.  Taking a step forward to stand next to his older sister, Roseglow. Giving her a small smile before his marigold gaze flicker up to look at Firestar. “I volunteer to go with Roseglow on this mission” Bearchaser volunteers with a resolved look on his sharp features. He knew he was young, which meant he had more to prove.

In Birch Forest
Bearpaw |Strong-Willed Soldier of Skyclan| Merigold eyes narrow suspiciously as the apprentice silently follows carefully behind his brother, Macawpaw. The observant pecan and umber brown maine coon had noticed an unusualness to Macawpaw. The wild brother of his, had been sneaking around for a few moons. Bearpaw had brushed it off as the fiery brother of his just causing his usual mischievous chaos. Now, he was almost certain that he had been wrong in his assumptions, no one had gone to his father to complain about useless pranks, if Macawpaw was not pranking or getting into trouble, then where was he? Bear was making it his mission to find out, sure he should respect his older brother’s privacy, but he could not ignore the nagging feeling that he needed to find out. He made sure to keep his suspicions to himself, not involving anymore of their littermates.  ‘What is he up to?’ frowning as he continues to remain several paces behind his brother. His pelt prickled with unease as they slowly moved towards the border. Was he leaving skyclan? He would have to intervene soon, he had hoped to figure out what his brother had been up to, but he could not let them step a paw out of Skyclan without answers. Clenching his jaw as Macawpaw inches closer to the invisible line that separated Skyclan from the rogue territory. “Macaw! What in starclan’s name are you doing? No lying either! Now be honest…” Bearpaw reveals his tall frame from the shadows as he arches a curious stern brow.  “Where have you been sneaking off to?”

In Leader's Den
Firestar |The Courageous Lion of Skyclan| After a long day of leadership duties the Skyclan leader was more than ready to retire for the night. It did not take long for the large fiery Maine Coon to drift off into a peaceful slumber with his darling mate, Auroraskies cuddled into his side. Firestar was not one to dream, if he did he could hardly ever recall such dreams the following morning. To him it was always a blissful darkness of no worries or stress, but this night was a different story. A worrisome frown appears on Fire’s spiritual form’s features as his usual void begins to shimmer around him, a new scenery taking place. The sudden change around him causes an instant unease to fill him. Glancing around him as he stood within the birch forest, the trees swaying lightly in the green-leaf’s breeze. The aura seemed almost peaceful and tranquil as he could feel the sun’s rays upon his ginger tabby fur as he began to wander aimlessly through the forest. Firestar could sense something within him that was telling him to search for something within the depths of the birch forest. The calling could not be ignored no matter how much he wished to wake up, it was no ordinary dream. Even with the echoing silence surrounding him, Firestar felt drawn towards the center. Ignoring the pounding urgency to quicken his pace, Firestar did not want to run so quickly into the unknown. Not with this heavy weight he felt with each thunderous step, it was as if his spiritual body knew what was to happen before he consciously became aware of it. Brushing seamlessly past low branches, not caring for the ones that snagged at his pelt. His bi-colored eyes transfixed in the direction of his destination. Tensing as the once sunny forest dimmed, a dreary gray settled around, fog pooling at his paws as he took his first step into the middle ground. “Took you long enough '' and a wispy voice filters through the chilled air. Firestar’s attention quickly snaps in the direction of the voice. Tilting his chin upwards slightly to look upon a large silver tabby tom perched upon a branch that normally would have snapped beneath his weight. While the unknown stranger appeared to be ordinary, the faint shimmer of stars within his pelt told a different story. The starclanner’s mystical orange gaze never wavers as he stares down upon Firestar. “It is not wise to resist the pull. To delay the inevitable” the silver tabby simply states. Firestar could sense the importance the spirit possessed, dead and once alive. Clearing his throat as Firestar retorts, “And who are you?” Why should he listen to this Starclanner? All they do is talk in riddles anyways. Scowling at the thought, what did this unfamiliar tomcat want from him? “My name holds no importance to you. Only my message” he vaguely responds. Anger and frustration bubbles within the fiery tom as he stubbornly turns away. Gritting his teeth as his body groans in protest to his movements. “I am not listening to a dead man who can’t even reveal his own name” of course he knew he was acting childish and stubborn, but he was tired of Starclan using the living with no regards to the said living. There was a tense pause between the two tom’s before the unknown feline spoke a simple word, “Birchstar.” Turning back to look up at Birchstar, regarding him for a moment as he takes in the first official leader of Skyclan. It made sense to Firestar now as to why he was drawn into the midst of the birch forest, because so was the one in front of him. “See? Now was that so hard?” He quipped before turning fully to look upon Birchstar. Sighing as he feigns a sore neck, “Are you gonna sit up there the whole time?” Resisting the urge to roll his eyes when Birchstar continued to simply stare down at him unamused. Deciding he might as well cut to the point, as the Starclanner was not a particular joy to be around. “What was this important message?” His question stirred Birchstar to life, his expression became more serious and grim, the temperature dropping as did the mood. “My message is a prophecy. You cannot stop it from happening, but perhaps you can stop the impending ending” Birchstar’s wispy tone echos. Firestar furrows his brows at the cryptic words, just as he thought. Fucking riddles. Just when he goes to open his mouth, ready to tell the old man to spit it out, does the spiritual Birchstar suddenly appear right in front of him. The unsettling orange eyes of the silver tabby stares deep into his emerald and ember gaze as the chilling prophecy flows from Birchstar’s lips, “Beware the toms who speak falsely. Their hearts are not their own. Not of gold or silver. Nor of lions, of tigers.” Fire could feel a bone chilling cold settle within his bones as the scene abruptly shifts to the ghostly flats. The gathering clearing living up to its name as the dreary clearing created an ominous sensation as the wind howled and the fog cascaded down the leaders rock. The fog looked almost like a silvery waterfall flowing until disappearing before hitting the ground. The fog’s movements almost put Fire in a hypnosis state as if beckoning him to step closer into its grasps. He most certainly would have if his trance had not been broken by loose rock tumbling from the top of the leader’s boulder. Head snapping upwards, eyes squinting trying to see past gray and fog to see what caused such a disturbance. Breath hitching within his throat at large yellow feline eyes peer above him, radiating such malice and hunger that left him rooted in his spot. The ginger tabby could no longer control his spiritual form as a large ferocious copper panther leapt straight at him. Just before Firestar could feel the razor sharp claws tear into his flesh—everything went black. Suddenly sitting up straight within his nest, a loud gasp escapes him as he tries to breathe. His sudden jolt startles his poor mate as she worriedly sits up to console the usually calm and collected leader. “My sun and stars, are you alright?” Her soft soothing voice breaks the silence. Her small paw rubbing circles along his back as she tries to bring him back to the present. “Did you have a bad dream?” She questions, lightly cooing answers out of Firestar. Blinking rapidly as he turns his unfocused gaze in her direction, her words barely registering in his jumbled mind. “It was no dream…” he mutters before his worrisome gaze finally focuses on her. Dread filling him once more, “Something bad is coming…” Birchstar’s haunting voice echoes once more in his head; “You cannot stop it from happening, but perhaps you can stop the impending ending”. But…stop what?

In Medicine Cat Den
Scorpionthroat ignores questions thrown at him as the large silver tabby tom pads away from the patrol without so much as a second glance. He hated that many thought they could make idle chit-chat with him, especially on patrol--how annoying. There was only one feline he wanted to be spending time with right now, Waspsight. His crimson honey gaze flickers over the clearing briefly, making sure not to overlook his mate, sighing softly to himself as the smaller calico male was no where in sight. Meaning he could only be in one place, the medicine den, probably overworking with restocking the herbs again. Just the thought causes him to shake his head in exasperation as he knew that Waspsight felt like he needed to prove himself to Shadowclan, that he could handle the responsibilities of being the sole medical provider since Hareflight stepped down. Weaving through the crowded clearing, not bothering to apologize when his shoulder accidentally clips into others, his attention solely on the medicine den as he gets closer. The strong herbal scent wafting through his nostrils, causing his stiff posture to relax as he slips into the den. Pausing at the entrance, leaning his large frame against the entry way as his gaze instantly locks on Waspsight. Just seeing his mate mindlessly tidying up the den causes a rare fond smile to tug on his lips. For several minutes he remains still and quite, not wanting to startle the overly concentrated tom, though his patience dwindles when Wasp had yet to notice his presence. Quietly huffing as he rolls his eyes in amusement before quietly sneaking up on him, it helped that the calico had his back turned. Smirking as he lowers his cranium to peer over his loves shoulder, arching a brow as he takes note that his mate was absentmindedly counting poppy seeds. Scorpionthroat could sense that something was troubling the bi-colored tom as he kept recounting the same poppy seeds. "I do not think the number is going to change, no matter how many times you count them." He whispers into Wasp's ear. Grinning as his mate jumps, startled by his sudden appearance. "Are you okay, Little Mouse? You look like you were deep in that complex mind of yours." Scorpionthroat purrs as he lightly nuzzles the smaller tom.

In Ghostly Flats
Firestar |Leader of Skyclan| Glancing over his shoulder as he briefly makes sure his clanmates were following behind him as he once more leads his clan to the Ghostly flats. That’s right it was time for another gathering. Just the thought causes Firestar to sigh as he could imagine a million other important things he could be doing right now. Like tracking down the ripper, as Auroraskies had told him. His mate sadly having been familiar with the monsters handiwork. He had left a few trusted warriors behind to mind the camp, selecting a scout to report any suspicious activity happening around Skyclan. A lone warrior could have the trek to the sacred grounds in less than an hour, while it took even longer when traveling with a large group. Firestar could not help but feel uneasy, something just did not sit right with the large fiery ginger Maine Coon. His trusted deputy, Bayleaf had reassured him that going to the gathering was the best decision as the rest of the clans needed to know. Though, Firestar already feared that the other clans have experienced the work of the Ripper. Frowning as he remembers seeing Granitemask’s dismembered corpse, anger coursing through his chest as he had failed his fallen warrior, but he would not let anyone else in his clan die by the Ripper’s claws. Pushing onward, ignoring the bitter cold nipping at his paws with each step. Tufted ears perked up as he was on high alert, disliking the thought that he was bringing his kits from his first two litters with Aurora with them. Their third litter too young to come along, leaving them in the trusted paws of a queen. Snapping out of his thoughts as he feels a familiar form brush against his side. Tilting his chin downwards as his bicolored eyes locking with violet-amber. Giving his mate a small reassuring smile as he gently bumps his shoulder against hers. Everyone was rightfully on edge, he was thankful to have his mate by his side in that moment. Shoulders releasing some tension as he breaks through the threshold of foliage, entering the Ghostly Flats. Taking note that his clan was the first arrive, giving his mate one last glance as he lightly pressed his lips to her forehead before gesturing to his deputy to get Skyclan settled. Once making sure Bayleaf understood, the leader swiftly makes his way to the large boulder. Admiring the size and strength the boulder represents before skillfully leaping on top. Turning to look down at his clan, watching them as they settled and quietly talk amongst themselves. Breathing heavily through his nose before settling down in the center. A faint smirk forming on his lips as he wondered what leaders he would see this time.

In Starlit Cave
Ravenwatcher |The Shadowed Knight of Shadowclan| It has been moons since he met Grimrose, being tasked by Mercuryrose to show the new addition to Shadowclan the ways of a warrior. At first he took his orders as is—orders, an assignment and task to complete and then continue on with his day. His once understanding and compassionate self had certainly dimmed when his mate, Smokestar unexpectedly passed during the black plaque. He had distanced himself from everyone but his kits that were now warriors, just the thought made him feel old. Smiling slightly to himself as he waits patiently for Grimrose to arrive at their meeting spot. Under the bare pine tree that had been damaged moons ago during a lightning storm. It was one of the most distinctive landmarks with Shadowclan, it has become the two warriors meeting point before either going out hunting, training together, or patrols. Today, however was different as he was waiting on her to take her to their date that he had set up for the both of them. Just the thought of what he had planned for them this evening causes the butterflies to begin fluttering anxiously in his stomach. He was thrilled when Grimrose had accepted, that she had said yes when he had asked her out on a date. He wanted the opportunity to court her, to woo her as he had grown to really care for the shy golden hearted molly, he loved her outlook on life. He loved her inner and outer beauty, something that had taken him moons to realize and had himself inwardly kicking himself on how dismissive he had been to her the first moon she was in Shadowclan. Shuffling from paw to paw to calm his nerves with movement, he had woken up early completed his warrior duties then went off on his own to get tonight set up as he wanted to have everything in order to have a perfect evening with Grimrose. A warm grin spreads across his features as he sees the tall slender black and grey form of Grimrose approaching him with a delicate smile of her own. His periwinkle lavender eyes brightening as he nuzzles her in greeting, “Just in time as always” Ravenwatcher teases, as she always arrived perfectly on time for everything. “Let’s get going before it gets too dark” he adds, gesturing his sharp chin in the direction they needed to go. Throughout their stroll through the pine forest they made small talk with one another, simply enjoying the presence of eachother. Ravenwatcher slows his pace as they get closer and closer to their destination. Turning to the molly next to him as he stops, “Hold on” grinning as he pads swiftly over to a hollow log and pulling out weaved leaves to form a makeshift blind fold with bits of vine interwoven to hold it all together. Holding it loosely in his jaws as he turns back to his lovely date. “It’s a surprise” was his words jumbled with mouthful of leaves as he lightly shakes his head to draw attention to the blind fold. After reassuring Grim and convincing her to place the blindfold securely around her face to obscure her already limited sight. “Lean against me…I’ll guide you” Raven softly says as he presses his tall lean coiled frame against her, his tail slowly curling around hers, his heart beating loudly in his chest, a feeling he did not know he would be feeling again after Smokestar. Guiding her carefully as they slip into a cave, one that has become popular within Shadowclan, earning the name Starlit Cave, for what lies within. The cool temperature caressing their bodies as the cavern enclosed around them. In the center, laid a large section of moss for them to lay comfortably upon with pink marigolds imbedded in the moss—one of Grimrose’s favorite flowers. Laying upon the bed of moss and flowers was a makeshift basket of sorts, made out of leaves, vines, and twigs. Not his best work but all he cared about was what it held. Within the basket was several pieces of moss soaked in fresh water for if they got parched as well as a large duck he had caught earlier that day. Guiding his date towards the center, pausing at the edge of the moss bed before he gently whispers. “You can take off the blindfold now.” Smiling down at her at her surprised expression as the glow worms light up the cavern ceiling—giving the affect of starlight. “I hope this is to your liking” Ravenwatcher says with hesitance in his face, hoping he indeed planned their date to her expectations.

In Clearing
Firestar |The Courageous Lion of Skyclan| The leader rose from his slumber early in the morn, making sure to muffle his paw steps as not to disturb his Queen and kits. When stepping foot out of his warm den, he could tell something was amiss. The stillness to the air caused the ginger feline to frown. It was an eerie feeling settling within his stomach, as if something was trying to tell Firestar that something was not right. Quickly clambering down the large branches of the sky tree, he needed to organize an morning patrol—now. Hoping it was nothing, but often enough his gut instincts never lead him astray. The ground beneath his large paws crunch faintly, frost settling upon the foliage within the tree. He had thought that leaf-bare had been coming to an end, as days prior the weather had lightened, it would seem that was not the case. Sharp bi-colored eyes flicker around before spotting Bayleaf and a few other warriors near their dens. Heading towards the solid grey warrior, “Bayleaf! I want you to pick two warriors to come with you and I for a patrol.” He orders. Pausing for a moment as he realizes that this is the perfect opportunity for Ryepaw. Sighing through his nose before making head way to the apprentice den. Refraining rolling his eyes as he was certain that the young apprentice stayed up late again trying to think of ways to woo his precious daughter. “Oi! Ryepaw! Time to get a move on!” Knowing that the young lad would not be too far behind he stalks off. Needing to see for himself on what was going on around his clan. Signaling Bayleaf to take the lead to scout the edge of Skyclan—near the cliff that overlooks the ocean. Firestar wanted to take his time observing his land. Brows furrowing at the bitter cold, his attention flickering wearisomely at the birch trees teetering dangerously under the weight of ice. “What do you see?” He questions Ryepaw, wanting to know just what was going through that small brain of his. Firestar could already tell that a storm was coming, one that Skyclan has never witnessed before or in a long time. The sea before him seems to almost be raging to be heard as the usual blue water now black and dark from the looming clouds. No birds or any other sign of wildlife could be heard, just silence besides the thunderous beating of the ocean against the rocking cliff. Firestar squints as a cold front brushes harshly against him, his ginger pelt ruffling in every direction. Studying the the cliff lining below to notice the rocky lining has begun to ice over. The ice slowly creeping up as the temperature drops. “Stay away from the cliff” he warns Ryepaw and his fellow warriors. “It could become unstable” He clarifies as he takes a few large steps backwards. Ears twitching as the trees around them creek as if communicating with one another that danger was coming. Frowning as he feared that his clan would need to take immediate shelter within sky tree to wait out what seemed to be an oncoming ice storm.

In Secluded Falls
Violetsun A bright smile forms on the young molly as she rushes through the crowded camp within Sky Tree. Throwing apologetic looks and hurried sorrys over her slim shoulder, ignoring the disgruntled looks of her clanmates. Everyone knew that Violetsun did not mean any harm, as her excitement usually got the best of her. Her beautiful violet purple eyes flicker around camp aimlessly, searching for her best friend. Slowing down her pace, a small frown forming on her pouted lips. Now where could that big oaf be? He surely hadn’t forgotten their plans already?! She had told him to be up and ready by the time she got back from Dawn patrol, he hadn’t agreed but he definitely hadn’t disagreed with her order. Tilting her cranium to the side, her fluffy tabby ash grey and diluted cream tail flicks slowly as she becomes deep in thought. Easily ignoring the curious looks thrown her way, as she stood nearby the fresh-kill pile starring off into space. Ears perking up as a grin forms on her muzzle, barely processing the hesitant voice of a bystander, wondering if she was going to pick something to eat anytime soon. No! Food could wait! She knew where exactly her dear friend was. Silly Violetsun! She had forgotten that the tomcat had night patrol, which meant he was currently catching up on some shut eye. Not for much longer! “Gotta go!” She exclaims before taking off in the direction of the warriors den. Biting her lip before carefully slipping into the den within the tree, balancing perfectly on the large moss covered branch, using her tail to flick vines out of her way. Gracefully stepping over and around sleeping felines, the rhythmic breathing and faint snoring could be heard all around the dim surroundings. Knowing that her friend loved his sleep and quiet—he would be resting in the back, two things that Violet was never good at. As she often says; ‘When the sun is awake, I am awake!’ The beautiful diluted cream grey tabby could not stay awake past long hours in the night, but she sure could wake up just as the sun’s morning light graces the sky. Squinting her eyes as her attention settles on the large dark grey and black tabby tom, his white paws, tail, and chest sticking out against the rest of his dark pelt. Pausing before his nest, watching him silently for a moment as the tired warrior sleeps peacefully. Grinning mischievously as she uses her fluffy tail to lightly tickle his nose, holding her breath every time he grunts and shifts, itching his nose. “Riverfurrrr” Violetsun cooes softly. “Time to get up, you have already kept me waiting” she mutters, tickling his nose once more. “You promised to come with me to the falls” she reminds, glancing around to make sure she hadn’t woken anyone else up. Silently hoping that she wouldn’t have to deal with anymore cranky warriors. “Riverrrr” she mutters, her voice rising a pitch higher to convey her impatience. “If you don’t wake up right now…I’ll-I’ll uh sit on you!” She threatens, her hushed tone not holding any real threat. Course she knew that her small frame would not do much damage to the large oaf still laying too contently within his nest.

In Tall Pines
Roachwing |The Friendly Shadow of Shadowclan| It had come as a pleasant surprise to the tall black tom when Mellowfrost had asked him out on a date. The two having gotten to know each other from their times skipping duties as apprentices and young warriors. Roachwing had always found the large cream and brown spotted deputy to be easy to talk to, not to mention pleasant to the eye. Yet, he had never thought of pursuing his attraction as his crush and love Skunkbreeze always out weighed his decision. A light frown pulls at his lips at the thought of his dear best friend, their relationship had become complicated after the tall broad black and white tom had become mates with Hareflight. It had taken Roach a while to come to terms with such a change, even if Skunkbreeze and Hareflight were no more and Skunk had confessed that he had loved him. The lanky obsidian warrior had moons to realize that he did not want a single relationship, that he wanted to explore his sexuality as well as what he really wants in relationships. He was willing to try with Skunk if he was okay with Roachwing playing the field. Tilting his chin upwards, looking at the pine trees surrounding him, the bare branches allowing for more sunlight to filter through the usual dim forest. Humming softly under his breath as he leans against a sturdy pine, waiting for Mellowfrost to meet up at this spot. Roach had thought it would be easier for the deputy to meet up here after he was finished with his duties or cuddling with Jasmineflame. Many would find it odd to date more than one feline at once, but to Roachwing it was not, as each feline brought different attributes to a relationship. He was not sure if anything would come out from this little date, but was excited nonetheless to see where it goes. If he was being honest with himself, he had never expected anyone to show interest in him. Not since his incident over a year-ago, where he lost most of his sight and gained scarring to his left eye. It had taken moons for him to readjust to the sudden change, with that his self esteem had decreased as well. Absentmindedly toying with the icy cold snow, drawing pointless shapes, trying to keep his mind away from self doubt. Instead he tried to think of what Mellowfrost had in mind for them, as the charismatic warrior would not give him a single hint besides knowing where to meet. Turning his wedge cranium side to side, letting his right sunflower yellow eye flicker around, ears perked up as he listens for approaching paw steps. 'He better not have forgotten' he thought with a soft sigh. As it was not uncommon for the other tom to forget certain things--mainly deputy duties.
